I love this place. The hot pepper bruschetta is a must try. The red sauce is that good good. They have vegetarian options. My boyf got stuffed hot peppers and loved it. Super great place to go on a cute date, drink some wine, have a convo, and enjoy some Italian food. Great service with a smile too.

Totally would not go there again in any way. we came for a birthday dinner one time and were not impressed by the food in anyway. Our server was amazing but when we asked for mods to the food we were ordering she said the chef does not like to modify his recipes (when I asked for cheese on my chicken parm because it didn't come with the chicken parm) which I found to be very odd. I also ordered a side of asparagus and it was cold, which I have never had cold asparagus before but they said that's how its supposed to be. After that I have never been back to the restaurant because it was not something I wanted to experience again from a dive restaurant trying to be a 5 star fancy restaurant.

Last minute arrival in Buffalo. They were happy to have us and Stephanie our server was the best! Could not believe the food. Outstanding!! If your feeling Italian and your downtown? Quaint and just what we needed. American Italian food at its minimalist and best. We had the bruschetta for an app, very fresh tasting and simple flavors, slight garlic. Then the pasta, I had the penne with a meatball, she had lasagna, both came with a salad. Very carefully put together dinner salad, fresh and lightly dressed... great! The pasta, al dente , perfect, sauce... not too sweet. We had a great time, our server Nick was very attentive. We washed this all down with a carafe of house red, then a house made rhubarb strawberry pie (you could tell it was house made by the crust). The pie was almost the best part of the meal. Thank you, we'll be back!

I know I was in a restaurant.... but I felt as though I was a cherished guest in Kathleen and Tony's home. The two of us were warmly greeted and seated at a lovely table right by the window. While looking at the menu our server told us about the nightly specials.... including a wine special "Tony's Special Red". Not being people who can resist a surprise, we ordered a couple of glasses... and it was so good that over the course of the evening, we each had a couple more. We started with the "Steak ala Vino" (a 4 ounce filet cut in half and served over garlic toast, with a side of garbanzo salad). We shared one order.... and it was a tasty beginning, with the steak being super tender, and the entire dish being perfectly seasoned. Salad and bread were then brought to the table. The salad was lightly dressed and fresh as could be. The bread seemed house-baked. For entrees I had the Spaghetti and Meatballs, and my date had the "Charles Diavolo" (penne tossed in house-made hot and spicy tomato sauce with sausage). The pasta for both dishes was perfectly al dente. The sauces (while very different) were both wonderful. My meatball, and my date's sausage were delicious. Perfect execution..... large portions..... reasonable prices..... and a "loving" atmosphere. We will definitely be back (again and again)!
