Nice cozy place with variety of Japanese dishes. Their unique sushi options are a must try. We loved the Kiss of fire roll. The noddles we ordered were not overpowered by soya so they were yummy also. Just would recommend not deep frying the shrimps in the noodles.

This restaurant is now my fave sushi place in the area! They can get a bit crowded on weekends because they don't have much space inside, but even when they are pretty full, I haven't ever experienced a long wait.
The waitress who has served me is really nice and did a great job with my food intolerances, even on the day we went when it was busy.
They have some really good lunch specials too that are very affordable. I'm already planning my next visit 😄

It is one of the top places for Sushi and Authentic Japanese cuisine hands down. A must try when in Buffalo. It's not crazy big or tons of seating, so take-out is fine, as well. Or do a reservation. Parking sometimes can be tricky as it is a busy area in Elmwood village. Lunch specials are well priced. Chicken teriyaki, tempura, or tonkatsu are good dishes. Sushi and Sashimi are amazing and some of the best in the city.

Great little gem with a storefront that blends into the rest of the nearby buildings. You wouldn't know it was there unless you were looking for it. Inside is cozy and quaint, but it is very small. I think there were either 6 or 8 tables, which are also small, and placed very close to each other, so you're practically elbow to elbow with other diners. The food though, I've had sushi from up and down each Coast and this place is easily in the top 5. I got the omakase (chef special, $35) and was surprised at the amount they gave me. The server was also very kind and warm. Each bite was delicious. I had never had uni before this, and it wasn't bad. If I ever visit Buffalo again I'm going to drop by again!
I have eaten here twice, the food was delicious but the staff was so rude (the middle aged women). I just came back because the food but her attitude didn’t change

There was a table of younger women acting badly with constant profanity. They were louder than anyone there. The atmosphere was not pleasant at all. The food was mid tier so go look for food somewhere else.
