A go to on game days. Wings and beer. The wings are some of the biggest in the area. I do have to ask for them extra crispy though as I’ve had a few times where the wings were slightly undercooked.

The owners should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for having one server/bar tender working during a busy Saturday night with baseball and NHL games happening. Julia was an absolute gem and busting her butt, working hard to do her job. The poor girl had no help at all and the owners walked in and didn’t even try to help her. They walked right back out. People were upset about the slow service and none of that had anything to do with Julia. The only reason I’m giving 5 stars for service is because of her. The tables were dirty, the food runners and bussers were useless and Julia still managed to keep the bar and restaurant running ALONE!!! Terrible way to run a business and a terrible way to treat your staff. Give Julia a raise and thank the ground she walks on for keeping your business afloat.

Say that you're me. You're on a bus from Cleveland to Toronto and have two hours in Buffalo. You've always wanted to try authentic wings in Buffalo, NY.Be me. Go to Washington Square. It's a wonderful dive bar. The wings are delicious. They hit you with a wave of vinegar and are perfectly crispy. The bartender, Joe, is friendly and the beer is cheap. I would have spent all night here if I could.

This is a gem! Basic pub fare done amazingly well! Beef on weck and wings (sauces homemade in house) are spot on. The 5 of us all actually raved. Inexpensive too. Super friendly folks working here!A fun find!

Came here for some drinks and a bite to eat before a Bisons game with my husband. We were a bit hesitant about going in, however, we were so glad we did! Our server was super friendly as was the atmosphere in the bar. Yes, some of the pub furniture needed updating, but that all adds to the fun and affordability of the pub. Very affordable. We each had 3 drinks. I ordered wings and my husband ordered the big hamburger platter. We will definitely be back next time we go to a Bisons game.

Nice place to get a drink before a Bisons game. The menu is simple and the place itself isn’t the nicest, but the service makes up for it!

This was a dive bar and I was here for it! It’s a vibe! Cheap drinks and just great! Only had a couple beers and a Jack and coke for 12 bucks! Staff even thought we left our ball game tickets and chased after us!
