The fact that you’ve got Tim Wangler running the Amherst St. store means top, top quality in all facets. He’s a Wegmans legend.

My experience of the Amherst Street Wegmans is the incredible service and the knowledge the staff of the products. Wonderful service, incredible staff!

Dear Wegmans. Not all of your customers are feeding a base camp. Not all of your customers eat 12lbs of food a day. Can you PLEASE have a better selection of sizes. Everything is either a huge family pack or doesn't exist. I had to buy a 2lb bag of romaine lettuce because there wasn't a single head of NORMAL romaine anywhere. I'm one person. I will never eat 2lbs if anything before it goes bad.

Kudos to the Wegmans’ security and management for their quick response and attention. I was assaulted by another customer in the store this afternoon. I entered the store in the mobility scooter, he was walking with his shopping cart and wouldn’t give way as I entered the store and we collided. He kept on pushing me out of the way. Eventually he decided to punch me with full force in the back of the head just before he made his way in haste exciting the store. Thanks to another customer who gave witness to the event and tracked the man to the parking lot and took a photo of his license plate as he drove off.

Mike assisted me in ordering our Christmas ? prime rib roast beef ? @$9.99 per lbs. Mike quickly took the details of my order 3 ribs, bone in, and bones cut back and tied for easy slicing. Our roast easily fed our family of four with wonderful leftovers that lasted a week plus I made French onion soup ? with the meaty beef bones yum fun. Merci beaucoup Mike for your friendly, attentive, excellent attention on making our ?dinner so delicious!

Gotta love asset protection workers that don’t wear their mask properly, while not safely socially distancing themselves in a responsible manner. Right in your face is where this gentleman likes to be, harassing and intimidating a customer (my husband). Not even filing a complaint with the store manager James or speaking with the SR VP Mike Keating about all of the unprofessional behavior of their staff helps correct the wrongdoings. Instead they take the opportunity to behave themselves inappropriately retaliating by lying about this same worker being threatened when it was the exact opposite my husband was the victim multiple times. Yet after having the security footage brought forward by a shady Buffalo Police detective it still proved they lied and how low and disgusting these people truly are. Family friendly environment is the last thing they offer. No one should ever have to worry about being treated this way grocery shopping for their family period!

If you value your health do NOT shop at the Wegmans on Amherst Street in Buffalo. They do not enforce the mask mandate. And their sign informing shoppers of the need to wear masks is so small and so inconspicuously located that it’s practically invisible—which suggests that they have no intention of enforcing it. I had this problem with this store when we had the mask mandate the 1st time around and quit shopping there. I only went back recently (it’s the closest one to me), but their disregard for their shoppers’ health means that I won’t be shopping there again—ever.

Wegmans is fine with violating the mask mandate. They put the community and all their employees at risk just to sell thing. How could anyone trust a company with employees who say they were told to break the rules to the mask mandate. THEY CLAIM THEY WERE TOLD TO NOT ENFORCE RULES THAT THE ERIE COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT MADE. STAY AWAY AND STAY SAFE.

Honestly, this pizza does slap, but here's the thing: In this economy, Wegmans really thinks that a $10 "small" pizza is allowed to consist of FOUR personal-pizza-sized slices. With tax, delivery and tip the bill comes to about $15, and for what? FOUR slices of pizza. I wanted to smash this pizza with my bare hands because I was so outraged. It would be HELPFUL if Doordash indicated how many slices you get with each size of pizza, but why bother being transparent?

a bunch of police officers running around the store looking for someone gave us a scare

The sushi: counsels eat it because the fish tasted rotten Pantry: could not find regular peanut butter brands .. no jiff or skippy. I ended up have to buy a fancy crunch peanut butter. It was tasty but I prefer the brands I am used to. This would mean that I would have to go to another grocery to get more typical American standard brands. The produce: I made the mistake of getting the pre-cut watermelon. I consumed the watermelon the next day. It is just the beginning of summer and the melon lacked flavor and tasted watery

As always, Wegmans can be counted on for quality products, friendly service and great problem solving! One of my Coworkers is moving on to new challenges so what better goodbye than a chocolate chip cookie cake from Wegmans? Nothing! The order process from catering was easy breezy and it was ready for me to at the specified pickup time... huge plus, time is valuable! The cookie looked exactly how it was supposed to, correct colors, spelling and artistry! A+++ for Wegmans! SIDE NOTE- there were tons of people inside (all wearing masks) so if you're nervous about covid, don't go at 3:30 in the afternoon, it's a min scene!

Expensive in recent years. Prepared foods are double in price, would be cheaper to eat at a restaurant where you're actually getting service. Waiting for the day when they put Whole Foods in the city.
