I decided to stop here after working three night shifts in a row at a local hospital. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict and a cup of coffee. The gentleman at the counter served me coffee right as I walked in and the service was exceptional. However, the service is the only reason why I would come back as I did not really enjoy the food I was served. The potatoes were undercooked and bland and the eggs Benedict itself did not wow me. The gentleman who I assumed was the host would sit in a booth behind the counter in-front of the tv and wait while the two ladies serving were cashing people out, busing, etc. He sat there drinking a cup of coffee and even used the container of sugar I was using and pretty much grabbed from where I was eating, which isn’t exactly inappropriate but I found odd and a little off putting that a staff member was using the same sugar I was (maybe I’m over reacting) then possibly saw my face as I was surprised and offered me more coffee. The restaurant itself needed a facelift and the counter where I was sitting started to break down in the one corner. Overall, the service by the two waitresses this morning were the highlight of my experience as they both seemed to have a good rapport with their regulars.

We were excited to try this place- I got the country omelette. The omelette was poorly constructed and browned edges (more than most would like). Home fires were very underwhelming. Everything lacked seasoning. Service was great just wish they asked sooner if everything was OK. Because by the time she came back, I opted to eat that rye toast, which was probably the best part of the meal. Truly upsetting that you spend $37 and that is the result you get.
