Delicious food. My regular item is the brisket, and it's always done just right. Tender and almost falling to pieces. Their sauces are perfectly spiced and delightfully vinegary, and the sweet potato fries are to die for. Sometimes, I dine in, but it's a better place for takeout, since the interior is kind of depressing. Also they don't have air conditioning, so during the summer, it gets really hot in there. I wish they were open later. They close at 7 pm, so just remember to get there early if you are going there for dinner.

My husband & I love Wil's! This place is the real deal and deserves some love on Yelp. Sometimes when I drive by and see them out back at the smoker I'm thankful that I'm not their neighbor because I'd probably be 50 pounds heavier! You can just taste the smokiness on the pulled pork and the spicy sauce is SO DANG GOOD. We've also tried the ribs, brisket, mac & cheese, baked beans and potato salad and all have been really tasty. It's more of a takeout place than a sit-down restaurant, but they have some tables if you feel like sticking around. If you do decide to stick around, strike up a conversation with the owner, Wil, he's a real nice guy and runs this business on top of working full-time at General Mills. Wil's also does catering and I'd recommend using them for your next BBQ. You won't be disappointed!

Came here with a Living Social and the sauce was PHENOMENAL. My friend and I split the turkey ribs and cajun style wings and ended up leaving with two bottles of their signature sauce. Definitely recommend!

We went to Wil's with an open mind for date night. The interior is depressing, so wouldn't recommend eating there. I ordered the pulled port. My husband ordered the beef brisket. The meet was good, but we didn't care for the sauce. Both our meals came with 2 sides. I ordered sweet potato fries & the vegetarian BBQ baked beans. The beans tasted like canned beans with some of their BBQ sauce added to it, so didn't really care for them. My husband ordered the Green Beans with Smoked Turkey - which he enjoyed. He also had their Mac N Cheese, which he didn't like at all as it tasted like it came from a box. I really wanted to like this restaurant, but unfortunately cannot recommend it to others.

The most important thing about Wil's is this: It is right across the street from the zoo. Wil's is pretty good, the prices are reasonable, they have a kid's menu... and it's barbecue. So it basically has to be good automatically. Check out their website, it's informative and has their whole menu (which is pretty big), and info about catering. I recommend ordering food their for take out and then going to the zoo or the park nearby to eat, because the interior is nothing to write home about, and they can get pretty busy - I think they have quite a neighborhood following and only a few handful of tables.

This place is average. I wouldn't reommend it to anyone, but I wouldn't tell someone not to go there either. It is close by my house so I think the convenience factor of picking up something that seems like a home cooked meal is a benefit. It is your typical BBQ place with sides such as mac & cheese, okra, baked beans, sweet potato fries, corn, cole slaw, etc. They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary and the line was out the door for their $10 buffet (offered only for this event). If I go out to eat, I tend to prefer to eat something I wouldn't make at home. This is just such typical average food. They do sell their BBQ sauce though and from what i hear, it is great!
