So glad we found this place! We were on a road trip, staying at a local hotel, and searching for good food and not the usual chain restaurant. Great food and fun atmosphere. Several vegetarian options and even a few vegan ones.

This place is a neat hidden gem. Do NOT let the outside fool you, the chef is culinary trained with 35 years experience and the food is AMAZING. More of a cocktail place than beer (no tap beer), but the owners and staff are warm and friendly. Looking forward to going back soon.

A unique dining experience with 1st class cocktails and perfectly prepared cuisine, all served by a friendly staff. I live in Florida and rarely get to the Buffalo area, but when I do, this will be a stop!
This place really is the bee's knees. I've had several items from the menu, which have all been delicious They make a litany of cocktails, which have all been tasty too.
Do yourself a favor and check it out if you're into good food and drinks.

Outstanding food and cocktails with comforting service and atmosphere. One thing I see on these reviews is how long it takes to get a cocktail, but Tom takes a lot of care into his craft and the cocktails are complicated, so they’re going to take longer to make (this seems very obvious).
This is a local spot for us and we’re at Winfield’s a few times a month. We always leave happy and FULL. Portions are very generous as are the folks who work there. 12/10 every time.

The restaurant came highly recommended so we went for the first time Friday night. We made a reservation as recommended and got there about 15 minutes early to have a cocktail at the bar. The bartender was great, very friendly and nice selection of drinks. He is the only reason I gave this review 2 stars, otherwise it would have been zero. We checked in at the hostess stand upon arrival and was told we would be seated shortly. People came in, were greeted with hugs so I thought they might be friends of the workers or owners [ this happened 3 times while we waited) and were immediately seated. I went back to hostess stand after we had been there 25 minutes to remind them we were still waiting. I saw 2 workers go up and check the listing for seating but still no call. At this point there were multiple empty tables. Finally after we had been there close to 45 minutes we left. I understand they had been busy but an acknowledgement that they were still aware we were there and could expect service at some point would have left us with a better impression. We will not be back nor would I recommend this place for dinner..
