Valentines Day 2024 - dressed for a fine-dining experience, and seated in the bar area. People walking in with "Carharts" clothing were placed in the dining room and we were placed in the bar area. Never in the past were we automatically placed in the bar, and we were not told on the phone that only the bar area was available for dining. Such a disappointment for this establishment! Then the salmon was over cooked and the polenta cake was burnt. Cocktails could not be bad though.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere is stunning!Dishes are a little small and a bit expensive, but I've heard the fish fry is phenomenal and the fries are delish.

We were traveling on I-90 and Google searched for fine dining restaurant. We found the Village Inn, and made the short detour from the interstate to Caledonia. It was well worth it. We had high expectations given the high Google ratings, yet the food and service still exceeded our expectations.

The food, service and ambience is fantastic. Don't forget to try the Victory Cake for dessert.

Amazing service! Delicious food! Cozy old world atmosphere! The Ahi Tuna tacos made for a delightful appetizer when paired with a Spanish Malbec. The short ribs were paired with horseradish mashed potatoes - exquisite! I will definitely visit again!Dietary restrictions: The menu stated that most meals could be made gluten free upon request.

This place has AMAZING food! And the staff is very efficient, helpful, and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend them! We had a large group, and they still handled our orders efficiently. I don't recommend just one dish. Every person there greatly enjoyed both their dinner and their dessert.

This place really wow'd me. Had to wait a while but dang it was worth it. Take out Friday fish fry was so huge I though my husband was walking in with cake boxes and came with a loaf of bread! So good and so much food was not expensive either.
