I have been going to local since they opened and I the beginning the food was exceptional but everyone we have gone in the past almost yr it has been awful pizza was either burnt or soggy and the sticky chicken noodle bowl was my favorite I tried it last night on my way home from a trip and it legit had no taste nothing at all. I had to add roman broth to make it have a taste and the onions where huge chunks.. I really hope they fix it but I will say the new place is nice...just really quiet. Iykyk

Went there twice now. The first time we got food it was exceptional. The tacos were great and the pizza was very good. The second time we ordered food it was not what we expected. Pizza was quite undercooked and my birria tacos were burnt. The wait time for a Monday was very long and the prices are a little up there. Overall we will go back and I recommend giving the place a try.

We got there to pick up our food and had to wait an extra 10 minutes because of a mix up. It ended up being over half an hour after they originally said it would be ready. Food was lukewarm and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. We ordered fries and never got them. We also got the birria tacos which were supposed to come with a bunch of different toppings and it came with none of them. It was just meat and cheese. Everything was extremely greasy and mediocre.The boxes they came in were greasy on the outside.. the whole order just seemed rushed. When we called to get a refund for our fries and lack of taco toppings they offered at $2.50 gift card. Not worth the gas to go get it. Extremely disappointed especially after paying over $80. Don’t order here.

We love Locals food, for my family and work family, the food is not always consistent but for the most part it is delicious. Love the new upgrade and bigger space next door to the old location. They are a bit more costly than desired so we space out our take outs from them, yet it’s worth the wait. I had recently inquired about having a pizza party with 8 pies for pick up to one of the local schools, I called on a Friday morning ahead of time, that Saturday and then again Sunday trying to get ahold of the manager, who I was told would reach out to me to take our order. When I couldn’t get ahold of her by Sunday afternoon the employee was so kind to take that order for us. The manager texted us at almost 8pm Sunday night canceling for that Monday morning order. It was very disappointing and frustrating to scramble and find an open pizzeria on a Sunday night. Thankfully Two Guys from Italy in Honesdale were more than accommodating with an amazing offer being that it was for my daughter’s 8th grade classes. Inquiring here for larger orders would be suggested to call in at least a week in advance to avoid any hiccups and giving time for management to reach back out to you.

I ordered my food and the young girl was pleasant at first gave me my garlic knots super quick but then it took almost an hour for a pizza. The young lady after 40 minutes proceeded to tell me that my pizza was cooking it should only be a few more minutes. I then told her that she should have warned me that she was busy and that it would take a long time. She then tells me when I ordered it wasn’t busy but then online orders started coming in. I then said you shouldn’t ignore your in house order that was first to make online orders because I paid first.online orders were coming and leaving and my son and I are just sitting there waiting and watching people being served and we’re just being being ignored. Also people that came in way after me three tables two four tops and one two top already got their orders and were eating and one of the 4 tops was almost done. Before I got one pizza.. I then told her I wanted a refund that it was ridiculous and she replied your food is in the oven mam and proceeded to ignore me like nope I’m not giving your money back.. What the heck is that?? The man finally came out asked if I was the garlic and had the nerve to tell me it only took 35 minutes I said nope you’re wrong and he said it was only 35 minutes and walked away saying he had the ticket in the back but refused to bring it up and show me and funny all the other pizza’s were given with their receipts funny how mine was left in the back though. Bad business they were in the wrong and then acted like I was, shame on them! And I tipped..shame the prices went up and the pizza shrank. 35 bucks for garlic knots that were super salty and one pizza. It was way better service and food before the renovations.I will not be back.. I’ve also never had to pay extra for marinara sauce for garlic knots extra sauce yes but not the one little sauce that normally comes with it everywhere else.

Come here if you want *ok*ish food. I ordered the sticky chicken noodle bowl for takeout while in the restaurant and received it within 5 minutes which, I’m all for speed but that tells me everything was sitting for a while (this was at 4pm) and it showed in the dish. The sauce was too much- and this coming from someone who loves sauce! It needed more fresh ingredients to help balance the greasy-ness of the sauce and fried chicken. There were huge chunks of onion I ended up pulling out because they were unappetizing. The noodles were stuck together in spots and slightly hardened which tells me they were previously cooked and sitting there. Disappointing for sure. Especially at a price point of $17! Unfortunately there will not be a repeat visit.

Omg. I drive 40 minutes sometimes for this. It’s the kind of place that is not trying to be anything they’re not. Good food, surprisingly impressive menu (my favorite menu locally, usually I stick to one thing at restaurants but I eat so many things here.) the staff is also so nice, have had wonderful conversations with Kevin and Danielle, who were so sweet and helpful. And the new location is soooooo inviting and well designed. Overall, realizing this may be one of my fav spots, just wish I lived closer. It’s the kind of place I could go to everyday.

I’ve ordered food from here many times before, amazing tacos and bowls and unique pizzas. Although, recently i’ve had some issues. They don’t have an updated menu so they didn’t have a few things we originally wanted…Got rid of the ramens completely which used to be my favorite… And today when i ordered, i picked up the food which the ticket says my 4 items but i only received 2 times and didn’t realize until I got home. My fault I guess for not checking the bag but it was filled to the top and tied, and the cashier read the ticket saying 4 items and checked the bag and gave it to me. Anyways, I call them and they are very understandable and they say I can come get the missing 2 items. 20 minute drive back and forth from my house but, I wanted my missing items. I get the food and they gave me the wrong item, they gave me a salad, not what I ordered. At that point, I was just annoyed and didn’t want to go back in and ask for the right item and wait even longer for it to cook. Anyways, like I said, I absolutely love the food here, and I never had a problem like this before with this establishment. They seem to be slacking with service, but food is amazing.

Looked at menu and the original item that I wanted was on the menu. 2 kids that were working were Rude and inattentive. Won't be ordering again.
