Even if you want just an app a drink and a good view. This is the place. It's very hard to find consistently good food and service in the catskills. The owners put their best foot forward here.”

“Great food, great atmosphere with huge riverfront picture windows in some places. The waitresses are often very young, and new with high turn around and you may need to speak clearly and patiently but all else is amazing and I visit here often.”

“We stopped here after hiking the Tusten Mountain Trail. It’s a small but cozy little place with delicious food (we got pizza and the shrimp tacos)! No alcohol but a good selection of fun drinks in the cooler. They had a couple picnic tables outside to sit at if it was a nice day. The staff were awesome; very accommodating and kind!”

“If you long for the old Catskills feel, look no further than The Villa Roma! Absolutely amazing time, activities planned all day, and evenings, for all ages. We just got home, and my family and I can’t wait to go back. The staff was so helpful, and made you feel like you were family during your stay. The food was delicious, we had meals for 6 days and each was unbelievable, not one thing we did not enjoy. The teens can dance the night away at a club by the game room, while the adults can slip away for a little alone time at Marty’s lounge. Very safe so you never worry about watching over your children every second of the day. We went in summer, zip line, bumper boats, go carts, pools for everyone. Indoor activities included bowling archery basket ball, and so many more. Want to golf? Full 18 holes at Villa Roma. Looking forward to going in the winter where the ski hills are open, as well as tubing and ice skating. If I could give The Villa Roma 6 stars I would! Bravo for keeping these hidden old school gems going”

“I was SHOCKED at how flavorful the grilled chicken sandwich is! Wow! I don’t know what the rub or seasoning is they use, but it’s unbelievable. I’m a picky guy who has eaten at some very good places. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this was the best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Try it.”

“The food tasted pretty good. My only complaint is how expensive it was for a “large” Stromboli. $30 for it and it’s not very big at all. I remember getting Stromboli from Peppinos in callicoon and how it was a giant “U” shape so I was expecting something a little similar. It wasn’t enough to feed our family (2 adults and 3 toddlers)”

“I grew up in Queens and have sampled Pizza from all over New York City, and every time I have a slice when I'm visiting this small town of Jeffersonville I am blown away by how good this Pizza is! Crispy thin crust perfect balance of sauce and cheese and I love that the sauce is just a little on the sweet side. One of my favorite pizzas from anywhere!”

The staff was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean and well staffed.It’s nothing fancy but there’s tables to sit and eat. Open late which is great in a small town especially if passing through.”
