“This is sch a nicely renovated historic building. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The food was presented beautifully and was plentiful. Our bill was reasonable, and the waitress was friendly and informative without being intrusive. They offer drink specials and have live music on occasion. It's really a nice place to frequent.”
“Came out here from ri , was starving after the long ride and decided to stop here. looked like they were closing but they sat us anyways which was appreciated, we didn't even look at the menu the girl listed somethings that sounded good and we were like "yeah we'll have w.e that is " the burger sliders were so good and juicy , drinks were great , prices was fair. Hostess was nice and attentive. 10/10”
“I'm an ice cream junkie and when I stopped on my way home from visiting PA, I was so excited to see they had the Maine blueberry ice cream which happens to be my all time favorite fast, courteous and affordable”
“I've only ever had their ice cream, but it's really good. Creamy and flavorful. Prices are very reasonable. They serve a lot of lunch menu type items that I need to try too!”

“Great food, great atmosphere with huge riverfront picture windows in some places. The waitresses are often very young, and new with high turn around and you may need to speak clearly and patiently but all else is amazing and I visit here often.”
“We stopped here after hiking the Tusten Mountain Trail. It’s a small but cozy little place with delicious food (we got pizza and the shrimp tacos)! No alcohol but a good selection of fun drinks in the cooler. They had a couple picnic tables outside to sit at if it was a nice day. The staff were awesome; very accommodating and kind!”
“The restaurant is gorgeous inside, it's in an adorable little town, and the food is phenomenal! My waitress was a doll too. I highly recommend it!!Wheelchair accessibility: It is ♿️ accessible”
“We love this place great variety of beers and good food everyone is welcoming music always good!! Atmosphere is awesome definitely a must for us when we are in town”
“If you long for the old Catskills feel, look no further than The Villa Roma! Absolutely amazing time, activities planned all day, and evenings, for all ages. We just got home, and my family and I can’t wait to go back. The staff was so helpful, and made you feel like you were family during your stay. The food was delicious, we had meals for 6 days and each was unbelievable, not one thing we did not enjoy. The teens can dance the night away at a club by the game room, while the adults can slip away for a little alone time at Marty’s lounge. Very safe so you never worry about watching over your children every second of the day. We went in summer, zip line, bumper boats, go carts, pools for everyone. Indoor activities included bowling archery basket ball, and so many more. Want to golf? Full 18 holes at Villa Roma. Looking forward to going in the winter where the ski hills are open, as well as tubing and ice skating. If I could give The Villa Roma 6 stars I would! Bravo for keeping these hidden old school gems going”
“Waitress was a sweetheart - very kid friendly. Drinks and food were great. Pretty crowded for upstate but it was new years eve weekend! We got the steak and the pot pie. We will be back!”
“I absolutely love this place! First off the owners are super cool. Their food never disappoints. Definitely a great place to sit, eat, and drink good coffee. They have a nice deck. The wifi works which is important in this area! Definitely one of my favorite breakfast places.”
“pelkey’s is by far my favorite bar when I come upstate. Don’t let the interior fool you…both the drinks, the food, and the service are absolutely top notch. And the owner is the friendliest coolest dude this side of the Delaware. If you’re in callicoon, it’s a can’t miss!”
“I was SHOCKED at how flavorful the grilled chicken sandwich is! Wow! I don’t know what the rub or seasoning is they use, but it’s unbelievable. I’m a picky guy who has eaten at some very good places. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this was the best grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Try it.”
“This roast beef sandwich was fabulous! We needed a snack . My cousin who lives in the Catskills told us about this sandwich. I had not idea a place in the middle of the forest would be so good . The meat was tender and slices so fine . The service was good . The ambiance was rustic as it should be .”
“Really great artisan pizza! The Ferruccio, white pizza with mushrooms and truffle oil, off the charts! Made a modified version for my girlfriend without cheese, very accommodating. 10 out of 10!”
“My wife loved the Liver & Onions and I enjoyed a generous Sea ScallopSpecial last nite . Apple Crisp for desert was delicious too. Friendly service. Going again for Friday nite fish ”
“i loved everything about the fire station! the cocktails were delicious and creative, the food was excellent; the chicken thigh was incredibly crispy, the hummus was homemade and super tasty, and i also really enjoyed the skirt steak and corn. the atmosphere is super cool and the trim on the windows and doors is awesome too.”
“Amazing spot, great food, pancakes bigger than the plate. Sweet ladies, always working hard. Love this place for meeting friends. ? Great service. Warm atmosphere. 10/10.”
“The food tasted pretty good. My only complaint is how expensive it was for a “large” Stromboli. $30 for it and it’s not very big at all. I remember getting Stromboli from Peppinos in callicoon and how it was a giant “U” shape so I was expecting something a little similar. It wasn’t enough to feed our family (2 adults and 3 toddlers)”
“It was very good had a ton of options to pick from. The service was wonderful and I was able to go sit on top on the roof balcony to enjoy my ice cream which was very lovely. And there serving sizes were very big for the prices. Definitely will be going back ???????”
“Such a cozy out of the way place, but the drive is gorgous through the lower Catskills farm country.Fun place to stop in and the folks always have a Welcoming smile.”
“I grew up in Queens and have sampled Pizza from all over New York City, and every time I have a slice when I'm visiting this small town of Jeffersonville I am blown away by how good this Pizza is! Crispy thin crust perfect balance of sauce and cheese and I love that the sauce is just a little on the sweet side. One of my favorite pizzas from anywhere!”
“What a nice spot for a coffee, tea, and pastries! It is a large location with an open floor full of brightness from all of the windows. The coffee drinks are very good, and the pastries are even better.Kid-friendliness: The books are great for the kids.”
“Skirt steak with garlic aioli was the best! The Brussels sprouts were roasted perfectly! Renee was attentive and super nice! Loved the atmosphere and background music!”
“Walked in late on Saturday, got my food in 10 mins. Ordered chicken and broccoli with wonton soup. It was also solid. Classic Chinese joint. The staff was friendly and the restaurant seemed clean and well staffed. It’s nothing fancy but there’s tables to sit and eat. Open late which is great in a small town especially if passing through.”
“If there is any place to spend your time and money, its a place like this. Great enviornment, great staff, delecious cocktails and cider. You simply can't go wrong. Even if you want just an app a drink and a good view. This is the place. It's very hard to find consistently good food and service in the catskills. The owners put their best foot forward here.”
