Roger That Bakery is a micro-bakery and a favorite local spot for fresh bread in Sullivan County and the Catskills. It is not a coffee shop, but they do have the best coffee in town. Everything on the menu is wonderful and made by hand daily. The bakery offers loaves upon loaves of freshly baked tangy sourdough, including whole wheat sourdough, alongside other delicious baked goods. Favorites include the Japanese milk bread, shokupan, Pullman loaves, milk buns, basque mini-cheesecakes, mini pies, matcha mint cookies, canelé, and flan. A trip to the Callicoon Sunday market is not complete without getting a week's worth of bread from them. The bakery is run by a kind, sweet, and talented couple, known for their intentional sourcing and support of local producers. They also sell sourdough starter.
