We have been coming to Peppino’s since it was a small pizza shop with 2 liter bottles in the cooler and wooden bench’s and like 4 tables, we drive over 2 hours for there great food and staff and atmosphere!!! It is a must eat when in or passing through the area!!! Hands down the best around!!!!

Will never eat there again. Pizza with 4 topping cost 50.00. No Im not kidding!!!! 2 toppings cost 8.00 each the other 2 were 4.50 each. They charge extra for using a charge card. Yes the pizza was good but if you plan on going there be aware of the add ons and the prices.

For a full pizza, medium or full, the price of each topping ranges from 4 dollars to 8 dollars, so 20 for cheese and dough. And for a four topping medium pizza it can cost you 45 dollars total.
Believe me, I've worked multiple places that sell pizza, I've made it at those places, and I've made it at home. Cheese and dough do not cost that much or need to be sold for that much to be sustainable. I've made bougie personal four cheese with six *quality* toppings or more that cost less than 20 dollars to the customers, in a wood fired oven with dough that was just as good and made from scratch. And there was several speciality pizzas in this range.
I've worked in restaurants for 15 years. There is absolutely a reason they don't have enough staff hired. -the conjecture being that those costs do not filter down to staff- It tastes great, but the quality, as good as it is, does not match the price and what you get for it.

You would think this place would try and keep their locals but no when they screw your to go order up its your fault not theirs they will not offer your money back and will get rude to you if you complain. We always spent $70-$300 a week here but they will never get another red cent from me. RUDE!! RUDE!! RUDE!!

We ordered pizzas for takeout. Three regular and one gluten free. All of them were delicious! The gluten free crust was very good, not like cardboard like some places. We definitely will be back again. Only complaint is the pizzas did seem highly priced and the prices are actually not on the menu online and they didn't give us a receipt either. But doing my own math each pizza was $30+ dollars. Seems kind of steep.

The hostess just asked if you had a reservation, and then she pointed to a table. Why have a hostess? The tables had menus already on them. The server let us wait to get drinks, let us wait to order and let us wait for bread. The shrimp scampi was awful. The shrimp were hard, and the sauce had no remaints of tasting like scampi. My Husband's spaghetti and meatballs was as awful with meatballs tasting frozen with sauce from a jar. The espresso was delicious which was the best part. Again, we waited for the check! I left most of my food, at high prices, and left hungry. I didn't feel welcome, and the server kept looking at his watch. Amateur meal, amateur serving at still high prices. Needless to say, we won't be going back. Maybe this restaurant should remember new customers can become regular customers!!!

We got philly cheese steak subs from peppinos in callicoon ny on July 14th 2024 they were delicious I have never had a philly cheese steak until today and I'm so glad my husband talked me into getting one to try ..so so very good
