This is sch a nicely renovated historic building. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The food was presented beautifully and was plentiful. Our bill was reasonable, and the waitress was friendly and informative without being intrusive. They offer drink specials and have live music on occasion. It's really a nice place to frequent.

Wonderful Dinner and Experience with our family of Five at the Creek House! Excellent service and delicious entrees all around! All of our entrees were delicious! The baked clams, house special corned beef and cabbage and the bourbon pudding were top notch! 5 stars all around!

We were visiting the town and some locals recommended that we stop in and try the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. So we did! Huge portions. Fantastic flavor. Great fries. And that white sauce! Yum! We also had the brick chicken dinner and veggie burger. Then we finished off with the best cheese cake ever and bread pudding. Everything is made from scratch and delicious. Service is great too. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: Staff is very knowledgeable about the menu and it’s ingredients.

My favorite thing was the potato pancakes with applesauce and sour cream. I can't tell you how delicious they were! My favorite thing to have aten in a long time and only $10! The service was fabulous, the atmosphere was clean, busy, and farmhouse fancy. I highly recommend!

My group were all pleasantly surprised by how good this place was. Both the bar food (wings, burgers) and the more upscale dishes (clams, muscles, salmon) were all

The food was pretty good and the service was pleasant but I witnessed this interracial couple getting kicked out and threatened by someone who I thought might have been the owner(?) over some political argument. Maybe he was just a patron but it was an ugly scene.

Excellent wait staff. Very friendly and well informed. Onion soup was delicious. Very good umami. Barbeque sandwich was good but the hand cut french fries were amazing. Going back for the mussels. Menu changes often, which is terrific.

Had an early dinner. Note: had we come later (on a Friday) we would have required a reservation. The Chef, John, is a Johnson & Wales grad, diligent, creative, and excellent. Karen, the Maitre D, co-owner, is the affable, tireless, customer facing half of the duo.Food was delicious, as was service, ambiance, menu choices and the overall experience. Pssst. Call and see if John is serving his lasagna. It's worth it!

It was our first visit to The Creek House Grill. We were greeted by the owner, Karen . It was so kind of her to find us a table on a busy Saturday night when we didn't have a reservation. The atmosphere is friendly and warm. The potato pancake appetizer was delicious! For our meal, both my husband and I ordered the bratwurst, sauerkraut & German potato salad from the Octoberfest menu. It was fantastic! Drinks from the bar were great too. If you are looking for great food & drinks with nice atmosphere you won't be disappointed.

Our family loves going to the Creek House when we are in the area (sometimes more than one night!). The food is always delicious. (Try the pork chop, seriously) Recently we got to enjoy their Oktoberfest menu and both the Sauerbraten and the Pork Schnitzel were delicious. And then there's the service and atmosphere....Karen (owner and wife of chef owner John) always makes you feel welcome and part of the family. All the servers, in fact, have been personable and attentive. If you are in Callicoon, you won't regret stopping in. And if you do, don't forget the bread pudding for dessert!
