The big was a very nice place to eat. Great atmosphere, food was good, service was excellent. We ordered the pulled pork quesadilla and the fried shrimp plate. Both were excellent. I took a star off the food because the cocktail sauce for the shrimp almost solid as jelly. Came on one of those little capped plastic containers and all I can figure is they had them in the fridge or freezer and it got funky! Now, I'm just leaving a review, Solely on the Fries and Onion Rings. Specifically, that they hold up Amazing, in retaining a Crunch Factor, even when, Cold. I just dove into some leftover take home from The Bog, in the fridge less than 8 hours old, tops. Was going to revive them in the air fryer, and still could, but, Wow, the Fries weren't greasy, and limp, like they had erectile dysfunction, and the coating on the onion rings was firm, not over-fried, and still crunchy.Fast...read full review

What a quaint, beautiful tavern. Stopped in today for lunch and my burger was cooked perfectly and the french fries were not just normal french fries, I would drive a half an hour for those french fries again. The staff was very friendly. Everything was clean, highly recommend.
