This is one of our favorite local restaurants.My favorite appetizer is the queso fundido, melted cheese with chopped chorizo and spices. It has a little heat and is delicious with chips. For an entree, try the carnitas plate. The pork is slow-cooked to render the fat and then beautifully seasoned. When were party of nine people arriving at about 6:00 p.m. The restaurant was as busy as I've ever seen it? No idea what was going on, but it was busy. In spite of that, we were seated almost immediately, and Kenzie, our waitress promptly took drink and appetizer orders. Mind you the place is a bit of a zoo, we didn't all arrive as one group, coming in over a 15 minute period, and yet she managed to come back and make sure that no one had to wait for drinks or anything....
