We always enjoy our meal at Casa de Pasta. Chef Joe is an outstanding chef and creates wonderful dishes. We enjoyed everything we ordered from the beer and Prosecco, Artichokes French, nice salad to our entrée of braised short ribs. Delicious.

The food was good. Calamari was so delicious. Everything needs a little more salt.

Picked up a large catering order for a group of us visiting from out of town. The inside was so welcoming and cozy, it made me want to stay. The staff was very helpful taking my order and made sure I had enough for our group. The food was delicious and made for a great family style meal!

This is one of our favorite local places to dine. We tried the Ricotta appetizer and it was delicious. My husband had the Chicken French and I had the Gnocchi. Both were fantastic. Dinners come with choice of soup or salad, as well as Italian bread with a very nice whipped herb butter. The martinis and wine were very good as well, and our waitress Wendy was wonderful. Delightful experience!

Every night is great but Thursdays are extra special if you sit at the bar with the very attentive Dave serving your every need. Drinks are great. Food is awesome. We had the chicken French, a classic, prepared to perfection, and the beet and goat cheese salad, also perfect. Great home town vibes and a lively conversation at the end of the evening with the chef/owner Joe that capped off a perfect night out! Highly recommend.

Our service was very congenial and efficient. Both my wife and I had meatballs with our meal and they were some of the best ever. The salad was good, the butternut squash bisque was great, but could have been heated up some. Our meals were linguini and gnocchi, and both were exceptional.

This was our first time in a while that we visited Casa de Pasta. We were met like we were old friends, chatting with the bartender and Joe, the chef. We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed a glass (aka bottle) of wine at the bar with great company, and then proceeded to the restaurant. Our server was fantastic, and we had the mozzarella garlic bread along with our entrées. There was a slight misunderstanding with my dish which was rectified immediately, and beyond expectation. Growing up in an Italian household, I can truly appreciate the love and dedication it takes to create the atmosphere that this restaurant most certainly delivers. We will be coming back again and again! Thank you, Joe and staff! Lisa and Eric 🇮🇹

Small and a local favorite, service was outstanding. Drinks great. Generous portions of a nice selection of Italian and American food. Fra Diavalo could have been spicier but was still very good. Will return.

Besides the regular menu which is excellent, the Chef's specials for the evening are always outstanding. Kudos to Chef Caito & his staff!

Staff was friendly and food was very fresh. Unfortunately, it was very loud and hard to have a conversation in the back dining room.

Not impressed... food was mediocre. Dining atmosphere was blah however our Waitress was great.

Two guests disappointed with the gnocchi both gf and non gf. Marinara was tasteless and overcooked. Sausage was very mild, and not very tasty. One guest liked the meatballs and one liked the stuffed shells. Blue cheese dressing was good, but my salad was served with croutons even though I ordered a GF meal. Food and drinks arrived promptly. Place is popular as it was quite busy on Friday night. Atmosphere conducive to conversation. Hadn't been in years and won't be returning any time soon. There are many better restaurants in Canandaigua for dinner: Rose Tavern; Nolan's; Il Posto; Bon Ami; Green Front; Laguna Grande, FLX Public House.

Wonderful experience over the weekend. We had a reservation on a friday night and were sat on time. Our waitress Jen was fantastic. She was attentive and very polite. We had a larger party of 7 and she didn't miss a beat. My chocolate martini before dinner arrived was delicious. For dinner, I got the Beef Short Ribs and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was fork tender, the demi glaze/gravy had nice full flavor and the mashed potatoes were smooth and creamy. Oh, and the crispy onions on top were the perfect flavor addition. I literally wanted to lick my plate clean lol. I cant wait to come back.

Visited for our anniversary, we were enticed by the halibut menu offering. The halibut was good, but not exceptional for the $. The dining room is on the small / cramped side and was initially noisy but quieted down as the evening progressed. Service was good, efficient and pleasant. Overall a good experience, just not exceptional.
