my boyfriend and i went here recently and we LOVED IT! they were able to accommodate GF and very flavorful! i got a Dill-icious plate and it was fantastic! the pickle and garlic parm combo was a new experience and not to mention the HEAPING portions of mac salad and chicken tenders. we very much had leftovers at a very cost effective price. the service was quick and friendly. the atmosphere was beyond unique keeping an interactive environment. we will definitely be back!

Brought my mother and her man here from Rochester for a unique experience since I have so much faith in Shane, the owner. All of us wanted to do plates that required chicken tenders and were informed that they did not have chicken tenders due to the weekend being far busier than they could've anticipated. At first we were heartbroken, especially my mom's BF because he already has a dislike of mixing his food together for plates to begin with. So finding something he would like seemed like it would be difficult. Anyways, we order Fried Pickles and Fried Mushrooms while we figure out what to change our orders to. I chose a Big Mac Plate, my mother got a Cowboy Plate and her BF ordered a Philly Steak, which we were then told they were also out of ? making his choice that much more likely to end up on something plain and not a plate. Which would've been a shame having driven from Rochester just to get a burger. So we convince him to look a little harder and he landed on the chili plate.
Now, for our reviews of the food. My Big Mac plate was absolutely bangin'! I think the only change I'd make is doing the sauce before the lettuce on top so it can absorb into the rest of the food and not "travel" with the large pieces of lettuce when they slide off the other ingredients. Otherwise, the burger was perfect, the fries were well-seasoned and the Mac salad is the best I've ever had and I am a guy who refuses to eat Mac salad unless it's part of a garbage plate. I rate it 8.5/10 (my scale is strict).
My mother enjoyed hers so much because the pulled pork was tender and juicy, the BBQ sauce was flavorful and sweet, the onion rings remained crispy despite being underneath everything, the beans kept warm and were sweet, and the potato salad (which originally were told they were out of but the assistant manager made some from scratch) was good for being thrown together and not cooled in a fridge first and we're confident when she goes to eat her leftovers that they will be even better the 2nd time. Her rating is 8.7/10.
Her boyfriend surprisingly finished half his plate despite his initial reservations. He didn't feel like going into detail like we did. His rating is 8/10 though.
We all enjoyed the fried pickles and mushrooms.
Overall we had a fantastic experience and will make the trip again and again when the urge arises. It's worth the trip to satisfy my munchies and support a friend.

Went with husband, on a trip to Lake Canandaigua, after finding it on Google. We both ordered the Yardman with home fries, onions, and peppers. It also includes 2 strips of bacon, a piece of ham, and a sausage patty. Sounds delicious, but the home fries are not from home, likely frozen, and they were way overdone. I couldn't even get my fork into many. And they were so bland. The pepper and onions were frozen. There weren't many of the plates, and they were finely diced, so hard to find, and also overcooked. This was a theme with out plate. Sausage, bacon, and ham were VERY crispy and a little burnt. Now they were very tasty. The eggs were spot on. It came with meat sauce or sausage gravy. Both were very rich. I passed on my meat sauce (too much allspice and/or nutmeg for me). Husband ate his gravy. He said it was sausage forward, with little gravy. He said that was definitely scratch made. Full points for that.
It was very heavy! Coffee was ok, nothing great, a little weak. Now, I will give them credit as we came in at the end of breakfast. So maybe that was it. We got what they had left. The staff was great!

Overall good food! There was 8 of us in total. Cheeseburger plate, split plate, Big Mac Plate, Burgers, Chili Dogs Plate, & fried mushrooms. Everyone enjoyed their food and said it was tasty. The Chili Dogs Plate was the heftiest by far and my brother-in-law tapped out! My cheeseburger plate was good but not as tasty as Charlie’s on Empire Blvd and not as hefty. The meat sauce was good. Next time I go back I’ll try something else as the menu has many plate choices. Wednesday is buy one get one for 50% off (plates). The 2 youngsters working there did a good job with our orders & service. Not a place you want to be if it’s hot & humid out as there’s no AC & it’s smokey inside!
If I could leave more than a 5 star I would. The food was absolutely amazing and my mother in law has throat cancer and a tracheotomy so eating and swallowing is very difficult for her the owner Shane went above and beyond to make sure she could also eat and feel included. Absolutely amazing man we need more people like this.
