Friday night reservations, first visit. Seated promptly upstairs with a great view of Main street. Great appetizers. Had Ahi Tuna salad, my wife had meatball parm. Both fantastic. Staff attentive and professional. Will be sure to be on our agenda next trip to the area!!

This is a hidden gem in Canandaigua. The food is creative and delicious and the service KiX butt. The ahi tuna nachos are a must try and we like ordering off the seasonal specials menu. The gazpacho with lump crab is awesome. Dishes often end up getting shared with the table so everyone can get a taste of as many as possible. The food comes out fast without feeling like you're being rushed, which is perfect for getting to a concert in good time or having extra time to stroll around town.
The staff and owner here are super friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. Servers are attentive without being overbearing. If it's a nice day and you can get it, the outside seating is great as is the roof top.
We stumbled on this place a couple years ago and now it's our go to restaurant in Canandaigua. Don't pass it up.

Food was fantastic! Service was not. For a fine dining restaurant I would expect the service team would be more formally dressed, not in t-shirts and shorts. Had a reservation for 4, included a note about Birthday dinner, hostess had her back to the door and after waiting a few minutes for her to notice us, our server seated us in the back corner. Minimal attention to our table, no recognition of the note about a birthday dinner. This was our second try - we will not be back. Credit card Service charge... took away from your Server's tip.

Great food and drink. You will not leave here hungry, plan on it! My fish sandwich was very large but only could accommodate half of the fish put on the roll! Salads are great, too.

Loved this place! We’re on a mini vacation and brought both of our dogs with us, so we felt bad leaving them at the Airbnb, but that was no problem here! They let us take our dogs to the patio on the upper floor, and even brought our doggies a little side of steak. The food and the views of downtown Canandaigua were unmatched. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Went here tonight with my family for my twin sister’s and I’s birthday dinner. My mom made the reservation and mentioned it was our birthday. We walk in and someone just said “oh, ur table is the 3rd table upstairs on the left” then we waited 10 minutes for our server. She was alright, didn’t go out of her way for us. We were looking at the dessert menu planing on ordering dessert for our birthday. Guess they wanted us out because our server just came over and dropped the check. Didn’t even ask if we wanted dessert. Spent $350 for 5 people and left pretty disappointed for a birthday dinner. 3 stars for the atmosphere upstairs and the food was pretty good!
The staff was very friendly and the rooftop seating was nice. Food was good and the portions were big.

My crew and I was there on Saturday 7/26 after the Mimosa festival and the experience was nothing but impeccable. We had a large group but we were all happy to sit at the bar. The server, food and ambiance was amazing. I will be returning!

Kix’s on main has genuinely the best food ive had in my life. i tried everyone elses meals, from the buttermilk chicken sandwich, the alexander and the blackened salmon(my meal)….. amazing. hands down amazing food totally recommend. the service is great, fox was a great server! the owner very attentive… COME HERE!

Went to kix with my family. There were 6 of us and only 1 of us liked the food, and he got a burger! The garlic monkey bread appetizer was fantastic but not worth 19 bucks. Our bill was over 300 bucks with tip! Alot to pay for food that was disliked. I wouldn't recommend
