The food was amazing the service quick . There is no lake view although very close to the lake . No outdoor seating it's an enclosed patio. very nice though.

I had the fish and chips it was overcooked dry no flavor. The tar tar sauce wasn’t even tar tar sauce it was so bad. I also tried their prime rib the cut of meat was bad and instead of red it was grey it’s a ripoff. And on top of it all it’s 214$ for bad food basic service and a dull atmosphere. The only good thing about the restaurant was the dessert.

I had the most amazing day celebrating my 70th surprise birthday party at Nolan’s- there was so much love and laughter - Nolan’s did an amazing job- the food was incredible- the servers and service was fantastic! If you are thinking of having a party at Nolan’s you will not be disappointed! We had a sit down dinner and everyone loved it- they cooked everything to perfection!!! We love this place for dinner, but be sure to book your next event here you will be amazed!!!

We felt as though we were eating in a high end (and very expensive) sports bar. The room where we were seated was plastered with massive HD TVs, so my wife spent the evening trying to ignore the tennis matches flashing across her view behind my head and I tried to block out the Strongest Man in the World competition. Dear owners: What in the world are you thinking? Do they really think your customers come there and spend almost $150/couple to watch the Strongest Man in the World competition?? Every table in that room seemed surrounded by people intent on having conversation---something I would expect at a high end restaurant. The food and service were excellent--something else I expect at a high end restaurant.

The food and service--and the prices--suggest that this is a special event sort of restaurant, great for celebrating big events and anniversaries; the omnipresent TVs suggest that this is a hangout for guys who want to drink beer and catch up on the latest sporting event.

I'm afraid we won't be coming back.

Service and staff absolutely excellent. Delicious salad and sides. We both ordered the seafood mixed broil. I was disappointed because it was heavily covered with a Cajun like rub, which was not mentioned on the menu description. I toned it down with lemons and tartar sauce. Didn't say anything about it. I realize I should have but it had been a long day and I didn't want to hold things up. I would try them again and just order something different and ask questions first.

We love Nolans. Went there this week as a thank you dinner for our hosts this week. Love the ambience and love the staff. Food: Could be spectacular but the chef is a lot heavy on the salt. You can't unsalt food but you could add salt to it. Chowder delicious but too salty, Steak soup delicious but too salty. Seafood delicious but too salty. Go easy on salt or leave it out of preparation would really add to the experience. Otherwise highly recommended go at least once a year when we visit annually and will continue to do so.

Our food was excellent. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. We waited a very long time for the main course. The wait was not quite as long for dessert. Though we allowed 2 hours for dinner, we were still late for our concert. Dine here if you are not in a hurry!

My family and I dined in on a busy Saturday for an early Mothers Day celebration. We have been coming to Nolan's for years (since we are locals) and the food and service NEVER disappoint. But our service with Jasmine was TOP NOTCH! Being in the industry myself for a very long time, people like Jasmine are rare and hard to find and she is a gem! Nolan's is lucky to have her! Service that excellent is extremely rare! Thanks for making our night out the most enjoyable!

My girlfriend and I came up to canandaigua for a quick getaway and booked here at Nolan's. We loved it! Great food, we had the following: - French onion soup - 1 cowboy porter house - 1 filet - also 2 Moscow mules, well 4 actually. The berry recipe was killer good. Overall, really great ambiance and solid service. Definitely will be back in the future. We live in PA and I know the area fairly well. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Nolan's remains our top choice for a special meal or a get-together with friends. The choices are many and cover all dining options. Prices can be on the higher end but the quality of the food never disappoints. It fills up quickly and reservations are highly recommended.

Just always solid and consistent. Their steaks are top shelf and the smashed potatoes are outstanding!
