Nolan's on Canandaigua Lake

Our first time dining at the “new” Nolan's and we were very impressed. It was very hard to pick our meal from the extensive menu, but the Salmon special was excellent and the Sheridan was my husband's favorite. The wait staff and hostess all were very friendly and accommodating, the booth was roomy and comfortable, and we will definitely be back. We had a very enjoyable meal and highly recommended Nolan's to all!

We went there for the Prime Rib dinner and they were out of Prime Rib. So I ordered the steak. While it was cooked to my liking it was drenched in what I can only guess is an oily salt brine. It was like a salt lick. I don't send my food back so I took it home and it was good the next day after I rinsed it in my sink. Not sure what the potato/cheese/scallion appetizer dish is supposed to be but it totally misses the mark. Tasteless is the nicest thing I can say about it. The service was very good. All in all very underwhelmed for our over $200 dinner for 2.

Our waitress was fantastic. Food was outstanding. I have never been disappointed with Nolan's.

Our meal at Nolan's was truly a pleasure. Everything on the menu sounded wonderful, and it was hard to choose. We rarely eat appetizers or dessert, but we did on this night! The quality of the food was truly outstanding. Everything was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. The staff were all courteous and friendly, and they even made my mom feel special on her birthday night. We will be back for sure.

We totally enjoyed our dining experience. Our server, Sienna, was awesome! I had the lobster roll and my husband had the prime rib sandwich. Both were delicious and so much food, we could not consume it all. The place was very welcoming and they had TV's on, if you wanted to watch, but the sound was muted so it did not take away from the conversation.

I was here once the food was good, but the lady had the idea to put the highchair upside down or baby carrier and that wasn’t stable enough. I was not happy about it and never suggest that again. The baby was fine.

Fantastic dinner with friends! Our server, Kelley, was attentive, prompt, accurate, and a great salesperson...we're so glad she convinced us to try the maple glazed chops; they were amazing! As always, you folks continue to raise the bar on local dining!

The atmosphere is nice.
My pork chop special was absolutely delicious.
The bar staff seemed irritated, rushed, hurried and annoyed. Our waiter forced a smile and was kind, but there was a tension in the air with the employees.

We’ve been to Nolan’s several times and it seems to be getting better. Went there Saturday night for a birthday dinner and it was really great. Bacon-wrapped scallops, steaks, filet and lobster tails and an awesome pork chop special were all top notch. The desserts took things to even another level!
Fast, friendly (quirky!) service and decent prices. And of course a great location in Canandaigua. Great!
