If I lived closer, I’d be here daily! The warmth of the homemade food and staff made this the perfect place to stop off the highway for breakfast. You must try their homemade toast with the strawberry jam!

Great little diner. Everyone was very friendly and the Cinnamon Bun Pancakes were ridiculously delicious...and so much food! I will be back again.

Absolutely delicious homemade food. The corned beef hash was amazing, as well as the homemade white bread they used for toast. I had a hangover plate and it was all fantastic.

Used google maps to find a place for breakfast off the NYS thruway and Pats came up! So happy! Easy to find, everyone was so nice, service was great and breakfast was made to order, hot and fairly priced. Definitely a great place to go’

Authentic US breakfast in a wonderfully presented and traditional diner. Friendly and helpful staff...well informed and couldn't do more to make us feel at home.

We ate here on the first day of our vacation and were very pleased. The waitress was very welcoming and the food was phenomenal! I had the Quiche and it was probably the best I’ve ever had. It was served with fresh strawberries, blueberries and grapes. My husband’s breakfast looked equally as good. He judges diners by their homefries and he said they were excellent.

I need to be absolutely clear about my experience at Patty’s Place: this diner is deeply racist. As a Black customer, I walked in expecting a simple breakfast, and instead I was met with cold stares, disrespect, and open discrimination from every waitress in the building. The message was loud and clear—I was not welcome there because of the color of my skin.

This wasn’t a misunderstanding. This wasn’t poor service. This was blatant racism, carried out without shame in front of everyone. That kind of treatment leaves you angry, humiliated, and hurt—feelings no human being should ever have to experience just for existing in a public space.

Patty’s Place is, without question, one of the most racist establishments in Canandaigua, New York. And people need to know this. If you are Black, or if you stand against racism in any form, do not give this diner your money. Supporting a place that openly discriminates only enables their behavior.

We live in a time where there is no excuse for this. This isn’t just about bad service—it’s about dignity, humanity, and the right to be treated equally. Patty’s Place failed on every level, and I will never return.

The staff moves slow, forgot half of what I ordered, way over priced, and hardly accommodating. A very small place with rude regulars that feel entitled to take up the entire space. Will never even give a second thought let alone second chance.

Great breakfast! Get the homemade rye toast, it's worth the extra 79¢

In my quest to feed 12 big fellas for a bachelor party weekend, in a search for an amazing “sticks to your bones, classic, and delicious” type of meal I stumbled across Patty’s Place. They don’t publicly advertise it but after a few calls with Renne & Jenny we got everything set up.

The quality of food was impeccable, the quantity and price were perfect. The cinnamon roll pancakes were 11/10 and thrown in for no extra charge. Would highly recommend this place to anyone for a dine in style or for their new catering service. Thank you again, guys!

Phenomenal food! Homemade sausage and homemade cinnamon raisin bread are both out of this world!
