I think they've decreased the quality of their food. For instance, a breakfast sandwich used to be on a good quality hard roll and now it's on a burger bun. It was gross and soggy. If it was just a day that they were out of rolls they should have let us know, but I feel like the food is always a little more expensive than it's worth. But we love the atmosphere and the people and if we have a larger party sometimes we go here.
Ray's restaurant has great service and great food! Their breakfast garbage plate is a brilliant idea and the portions are perfect. The corned beef is hand pulled and their homemade jam is delicious!
My husband and I stopped in for breakfast and were really happy we did. At first I felt a little out of place as this is the type of restaurant that locals eat at; however, our waitress quickly put me at ease. She was a delight, and I'm irritated I don't remember her name.
Coffee was hot, fresh, and plentiful. Food was very tasty and really filling. My husband ordered the Trucker, which was huge and excellent. Perfect start to our day.
