We had a lovely visit to the Rose Tavern on a wintry Friday night. Alyssa was our server and she did an excellent job taking care of us. The short rib was outstanding. Our only regret was not having the pleasure of being served by Brett. Apparently he is a living legend and was off the night we visited. We drowned our disappointment in local IPAs, bourbon and bread pudding.
We were greeted immediately and our server was very friendly and attentive. We had the salmon and short ribs, both delicious and well proportioned. Our spicy margaritas and old fashioned were delightful. Highly recommend!!!
We were married at the Lake House, so this resort already holds a special place in our hearts — and every time we return, we’re reminded why we love it so much. The Rose Tavern is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and that warm, upscale aesthetic that the Lake House is known for.
