We have been here several times and been very happy with everything until last night.
The drinks and service are great but we were very disappointed with the new menu. They have scaled back the selection of food items and the prices are way too high for what you receive. We ordered a brisket sandwich. It was just a small amount of meat on a hamburger bun, nothing special and no sides. Just a sandwich for $14. Grossly overpriced!
I could have gotten a better value at McDonalds. I hope they rethink their menu.
We’ll be back for drinks and music but not for food.
I really enjoyed the Apple Crisp cider. Very light and refreshing. A perfect summer beverage. The pulled pork poutine was also a winner. And of course, great entertainment from Tom Chamberlain. I highly recommend Star Cider.
I tried this place for the first time at the same time they were celebrating 6 years in business. I loved everything. I got a couple mocktails which were a Cherry in the limelight and a Shirley temple which I learned they made their own geradine for it. For the food I was not disappointed I got a huge portion of brisket routine so delicious I tried the pulled pork tacos and their version of fried dough. The conversation was great that I had with a couple of the ladies there was great. I learned about their membership program which is annual so you have to pay yearly but it us worth it if you go there all the time or frequently. I will be back for sure.
Nice place great atmosphere, nice outdoor space too. We only tried the ciders some we liked some we didn't but that's personal taste. We didn't get food but it looked great from what we saw. Definitely be back when they music and to try the food.
I went to Star with a friend this past weekend for an event, which happens regularly here, and had a great time. My family and I go here at least twice a month to get together and enjoy it every time. They have live music very often, which showcases local artists. We are big lovers of live tunes. There is trivia here as well that cycles on topics and always is a good time. It is a good sized building with a large outdoor capacity, lots of parking, and rentable firepits on the lawn. These are absolutely worth using at least once in the Fall. The staff are always so kind and very helpful in finding a good choice for you. Cider is a acquired taste, and I am a bit picky, but the rotating offerings and ability to choose a cocktail or beer makes the choice much easier. There is plenty to keep you occupied here. Our family likes to indulge in the board games. The food is so good, Nenos. I always get carnitas tacos and its messy, but full of flavor. I have not been disappointed.

I ordered food and was never notified it was ready even with a buzzer and them taking my phone number. I checked on it after 30-40 min and it had been ready and was ice cold. I had to leave for another event so basically $25 down the drain.

This is the perfect spot to stop when driving through the finger lakes region. Had lunch at their in-house Mexican restaurant, chicken nachos were amazing! The cider was also great with lots of options. Beer available as well from local brewers. It was all great, but atmosphere, lots of green space outside, and fantastic customer service top the list. We will go out of our way to come back here again.
Dietary restrictions: More than 6 options for cider which is refreshing for those of who cannot have gluten.

Not a bad place. My wife wanted to order something to eat for our group. Decided to get quac and chips. We asked the bartender "is it a good size, we have six people" . He evaided giving a direct answer. She ordered two orders at $9 a piece thinking we would be covered. The amount of quac wasn't enough for one person let alone a group. He very easily could have told us it's a half cup of quac as it comes in a plastic cup. I just asked the group how the quac is, they said it's edible. Will not come back.

Got a flight of 8 flavors of cider, it was a good ol time. The bartenders were really cool too. The tacos were great, I'd love to go back next time I'm in NY.
