Service was slow, told we might have to wait for our wine because she was under age when we got it, it was not good. Were charged for 2 glasses of wine when we only got one. Food was ok, nothing special. Would not go back again.

I have tried the fish dinner, onion rings, and a vegetable pizza. Everything was delicious! The best pizza ever! The fish and onion rings were perfect. Can’t wait to try other things on the menu.Absolutely beautiful Christmas decorations!Great place and lovely people. Wish they were open more.

Good Choice!Awesome fresh fish that you can get on Thursday or Friday. You can substitute coleslaw or french fries, for the salad at no charge. Also, a great choice is the brick oven pizza, with 6 wings. It’s probably more than any one person could eat. Opens later in the week. Spacious. Prices are good! They try hard with the service. Generally one nice older lady that could probably use some help.. Christmas time it’s warm and cozy. They do a beautiful job of decorating, with at least three or four Christmas trees.

The food was absolutely delicious, amazing chicken, riggies, Amazing fish, the service was a little slow but not terrible but we definitely felt as soon as our meal was over that they wanted us to leave, even though there was only a few people in the restaurant. Very rushed feeling. Outside of that, the place is very clean and the food is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes are huge!! I’m giving it five stars because I would definitely go back again regardless!! The food was amazing!

This place is a great little family-owned Italian restaurant in Canastota that serves authentic Italian food. They have a great selection of wines and the decor is something you just don't see anymore.
Great family friendly Italian joint with friendly staff and great food. The dining room was closed during our visit but the bar lounge was comfortable and not noisy.

Food prices are really affordable and the wings are excellent! I think their sauce is homemade for the pasta I ordered, I just don't remember the name because we ate here like two months ago. But I'm looking forward to trying more dishes here!

An absolute gem! Their Italian dishes are incredible. I try to patronize this family run restaurant every week or so. Their meatballs are incredible. Many times I order meatballs as a carry out for our granddaughters. They know (without me asking) to place the sauce in a separate container. Their pasta sauce is incredible. Their chicken riggies are incredible. They also make the best Buffalo Chicken Hot Sub … ANYWHERE! If these accolades are not enough, please consider Lauro’s to cater an event. We had a huge special order to be picked up on Christmas Eve in the early afternoon. Chicken Parm, Chicken Riggies and meatballs were hot, ready on time and delicious. Everyone left full and happy.
