A few booths but i would guess a lot of the business is takeout. Sandwiches are mediocre (oversauced), but not terrible. All come with two sides, which makes it not a bad price. Curiously he serves in plastic takeout containers that are absolutely not recyclable. Didn't try the pizza but the concept of sauced brisket or pulled pork or both ("bad wolf pizza") sounds truly bad. I guess this is popular with some people.

Ordered the pulled pork sandwich last Friday and it was probably one of the best I have ever had (coming from the south, I have had a lot of BBQ). The baked beans were also very good. Will definitely be going back.

Having been a Bbq catering, I am always excited to try others hand at this craft. My interactions with this establishment were memorable, but not pleasant. When I asked about his product- the response was very rushed. I first asked about which offering was better -the response was everything was good. when asked about the sauce, he was dismissive. I asked was the brisket sandwich meat from the flat or point of the brisket- he said I just slice it. There was no smoke ring on the brisket, which was exceedingly dry. One can overlook a lack of bedside manner- if the food is good ie. Sienfeld “ The soup nazi.” But at least that soup was good! It’s a good thing for Lee’s that Canastoa is a relatively small community with no bbq competition, or else he would be out of business yesterday!!! This food was bland and dry, I don’t recommend it to anyone with a workable palate!!!

marks, tasted like they were boiled then slathered w bbq sauce. Mac n cheese was bland. TV blaring with obscenities. Took a couple bites and tossed both meals in the trash on the way out the door. Had been wanting to try for a while, now we know.

Im the last person that would give a small business a bad review but the food was so bad i just had to. Ordered the ribs. Had to throw the food out because it seemed as if the ribs were either boiled or microwaved. Zero smoke and zero bbq flavour. Save your money. The owner is nice and welcoming but that doesnt cut it when the food he serves is absolute garbage. Bbq is so hard to get wrong. This place gets is wrong unfortunately. I wouldnt even call it bbq. Very disappointed.

Tried for the first time the fish was big and tasty , salt potatoes and Mac salad was great will come back
Food is very good. Had a brisket sandwich, tasty tender meat. Macaroni salad was very good. Beans were ordinary Bush's beans, nothing added. Got a container of prime rib chili, that was awesome! I will definitely go here again. Owner is very passionate about his restaurant, products, and service.

We had to find some food for our wedding at a decent price. Other BBQ were incredibly expensive. Lees gave us a great deal for dinners and ALL of our guests send compliments as well! The owner is a beautiful soul and it’s so nice to have a bbq right in canastota!! Much better than driving out to dinosoar

Went in for my first visit and was greeted right away! Very friendly! Haddock Dinner sounded good and a BBQ Pork slider for the kiddo. Haddock was excellent, as well as the homemade Mac salad and baked beans. My son loved the slider. Will be coming back next week to try the ribs.
