Overpriced and overhyped, if I could give zero star I would. $3.99 for two pieces of mediocre nigiri. Most plates are $3.99 unless if you order through the kiosk. This is so overpriced when the taste isn't even anything different from cheap sushi places at the mall food court. They also make you sign in using a kiosk and wait outside to be called in....almost no people interaction. The annoying robot that brings you your water takes forever and plays the annoying music every time it comes near. I ordered tan tan ramen once and although it was supposed to be hot the pork was cold with lumps of fat floating around in the broth. Absolutely disgusting. I'd rather have instant ramen. Maybe it's just me because every time I come here it's packed.

Let’s be real. You don’t go to kura for quality sushi. You go for the experience of conveyor belt. The sushi is fresh enough but the cuts are tiny. More rice than fish. Plus you get some ramen/udon and other mini hot plates. For the cost of a family of four, we could ate at much higher end location of sushi than here. The quality of the sushi and the size has gone down considerably as well over the last five years of this chain. We used to go to the locations in Jersey and have seen the cleanliness and quality of sushi slide down down down

Pretty cool place that serves sushi in a fully automated setting. Food is good, a little pricey, but you get to try a lot of things that would be specialty rolls or dishes from other places without committing to a whole order. Think sample size with somewhat sample prices as opposed to a full dish of something that is pricey and you may not enjoy.

Medium sized place with a good number of tables. Almost everything is automated. One you sit down a robot will bring you water, drinks, and utensils, all the food goes around the place on a conveyor belt, and anything that you special order is done via tablet and put on a separate conveyor belt direct to your table. They have a few typical sushi rolls but most of the dishes could be considered specialty rolls. In addition to the sushi and sashimi that go around, you can also order sides or other full meals such as gyoza and ramen.

We enjoyed the special decoration for the Pikmin collaboration.

Save your money.. food was always cold (even the food we ordered). Many empty plates revolving at a time. Was hoping to love it, never coming back.

We were excited to try Kura. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed. The sushi was poor quality, small portion, we ordered
Beef Udon soup, it tasted like it was watered down. The conveyor belt concept is interesting along with the robot that serves drinks, however, food is BAD not fresh, over priced. Rating T - for terrible.

Kura is awesome. It's a great place to bring your family and friends. The fish and rice are always fresh and I've been here over 10 times. I recommend using their app. You get coupons for your next visit based on your purchase

It's conveyor belt sushi. You are very much so paying for the experience more than anything else. The food is OK and each plate is roughly $3.90. Desserts cost more at about $6.90 a plate and drinks can range. Portions are small so that's why everything is priced mostly the same. After all was said and done I payed $110 for 2 people for mediocre sushi but going in for the experience of conveyor belt sushi makes up for the quality of the food. Definitely go if you haven't been before but I'd recommend going to places such as Takumi in commack if you're looking for really good sushi. 3 Stars for mediocrity.

Overall, it's a very good Japanese sushi place in Long Island. The location is quite convenient. Stuffs are friendly and helpful. Foods are decent.

So I’m a gal who loves a gimmick, of course I was very excited to come here. Disappointed is an understatement though… this was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. Pathetic thin pieces of fish, texture and quality was off, just plainly bad. Miso was incredibly salty and the tofu had a weird texture idk how one even messes that up. The only thing that didn’t suck was the cheesecake. The server offered to take the miso off the bill after collecting the bowl and realizing I didn’t eat more than a few bites, which was nice but they forgot to and I didn’t care enough to make a thing about it. The cup had lipstick on it that I didn’t notice until pretty much done with my drink, it was just giving kinda dirty vibes all over there though. Bathroom was also disgusting. Writing this review with a stomach ache, it is not sitting well.

Love this place so much. It's so fun and the sushi is delicious. The garlic skipjack tuna is so addicting. Love the little robot with the british accent. Not the most economical way to eat sushi but it's an easy date night or group activity.
