Absolutely loved our time here! It was a wonderful experience and my daughter loved it also!

My mom and I stopped in for a mother daughter holiday tea and both did the afternoon tea. We had such a great time and everything exceeded my expectations! I do wish the clotted cream came with the experience. I would absolutely return here if I was in the area again. Friendly staff, fresh tasty food, great ambiance. And I don't know what they put in those cucumber tea sandwiches but I wish mine turned out that good!

We went here for lunch one afternoon and after an excellent meal of sausage rolls and scones. immediately booked them for our baby shower! It was an absolutely fantastic experience and couldn't believe how it turned out. Everything was perfect. Everyone loved it. You cannot go wrong with Sam and Florrie Kayes! Do yourself a favor and don't second guess going here.

I held my baby shower at Florrie Kayes and would recommend Florrie Kayes to everyone. Samantha and her team are all wonderful and helped bring my vision to life, the room itself is decorated beautifully with lovely attention to detail with the teacups and afternoon tea stands, and the food is delicious and tasty. Since holding my shower there, several people have gone back to Florrie Kayes for brunch and lunch because they enjoyed their experience so much. Whether you’re looking for a fun place to host an event or just looking for incredible food, Florrie Kayes is perfect!

Overpriced and rude service.

Food way very good although scones were very dense and missed option of clotted cream with them vs whipped cream. Chicken curry salad was very good as was zucchini bread. Friendly patrons but the place was packed with birthday parties in the middle of the week in the middle of the day. Hard to get reservations even just for two for tea. Forgot to pick up some loose tea to go but will be back. The town around it is very cute and picturesque.

Parking: Parking is very difficult in front of the restaurant so we had to go in the parking lot in the back of the restaurant which is at the bottom of a very steep flight of steps. Then once you get into the restaurant you have another two flights of steps. If you can't park on the street and have anybody with you that might be disabled or have mobility issues you are going to have serious issues. They really need to have the spaces on the street in front of the restaurant saved for handicapped only.

Wheelchair accessibility: Impossible for someone in a wheelchair if you have to park in the back because it is all steep stairs to get into the restaurant. Your only option is to drop your person off at the front if you cannot find street parking (which you probably can't). There needs to be handicap parking in front of the restaurant. Inside the restaurant it is very crowded and packs table to table so I would think it would be very difficult but not impossible for someone in a walker or wheelchair to make it to the restroom if people moved their chairs. The rooms are tight and small and full of decor and memorabilia so I would think it would also be hard to navigate if in a chair or mobility device.

Love this place! We celebrated my sister's bridal shower here and it was the perfect cozy location for a relaxed party. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it for the cost, and the venue had many built-in features for the party, including a photo wall, props, and tons of lovely decor for the perfect intimate vibe. We were really impressed by the service and we felt like a priority, even though there was another party following ours! Thanks again, Florrie Kaye's, for a wonderful experience.

Dietary restrictions: They can easily accommodate Celiac/GF needs with separate plates and preparation areas.

From start to finish Samantha and the crew were such a pleasure to work with. We had our bridal shower catered by Florrie Kayes and everything was delicious. After dinning in for lunch we knew we needed them for our special day. The food set up was beautiful. I look forward to using them again in the future.

A hidden gem in the heart of Carmel Hamlet! This is the very first time I’ve ever felt the need to post a review. Samantha helped me plan an amazing baby shower. She is knowledgeable, funny, and extremely talented, not to mentioned the food was delicious. Definitely go in for lunch or have her cater your next party. You will not be disappointed.
