They closed at 4 instead of 6pm today to my disappointment :0(. However still a happy place for me and I recommend everyone go there and patronize them. The owner I met there last time is also NYPD and a great guy. He's got a passion for what he does and it shows. Can't wait to see what he does moving forward.

I am Marine Veteran and took my son with me to try. Unfortunately, the attitude of one gentleman behind the counter was less than inviting. Was it me? A few minutes later an older gentleman walked in and told this same person "hey I was sent over here by so and so". This person behind the counter looked at him and basically said, ok so what? The elderly man sort of looked at him with amazement. Maybe they were having a bad day. We got our food, hot dogs were not great. The knish were good, that was about it. The atmosphere and this gentleman behind the counter was not inviting. I think I heard him say he was the brother in law of the owner, although not 100 percent sure.

Me and my son stopped in for hot dogs last week on our way to a baseball game. The restaurant was small, but very quaint and clean.
The hot dogs were great - Sabretts - best around - the service was quick and friendly - def family owned and operated - seemed like everyone there was related -
Was so good my son asked to go back next time we are in the area - and we definitely will

Food was great, owners were even better. Hot sausage is a MUST. Four year old devoured the hot pretzel. We will definitely be back.
Kid-friendliness: It’s a hot dog joint with hot soft pretzels. This place is about as kid friendly as you can get.
