I have always brought my grandchildren to this location on occasion because I believe Wendy’s, by far, is the healthiest and most delicious fast food. With that said, this time I was disappointed. The burger had a black hair in it, and the fries - both orders, were freezing cold. The table was not wiped down. The dining area was not busy at all. The staff seemed very busy trying to keep up with the drive through orders. There are zero napkins at the condiment area and the staff wasn’t attentive and not a smile on one of their faces. I will still go to Wendy’s but not at this location. I was totally shocked and disappointed.

Wendy’s has been a staple in Carmel for many years now and if I’m opting for a fast food burger, this is the place where I prefer to go.For me, I love how Wendy’s serves a thicker hamburger. The toppings are generously sliced and really add dimension to the burger. I personally love the Dave’s Single or the Classic Chicken Sandwich. Unfortunately though, the fried nowadays are pretty disgusting. They’re too crispy and don’t have the potato skins like they used to.The drive thru can be rather chaotic at times and it doesn’t help that there’s a large parking lot and exit to the plaza that the line for drive thru intersect.A lot of younger kids work for Wendy’s and for the most part they’re very friendly. While I don’t live in Carmel anymore, I’m happy to stop by when I’m in the area for a quick and easy meal.

Its greasy. You kinda know what your getting yourself into pulling up to Wendys. Some people dont have a problem pouring bacon grease down their sinks and some dont mind greasing themself inside out. But when Wendy calls every now and then, well you know what you do.
