Laurie is a one woman army! From greetings us to serving to helping us out, she took absolute care of us. We made a stop on our way to NJ at this diner to get a morning grub in a homely atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. The chef is talented too and the food was out in less than 15 mins. The only feedback would be to work on the potato hash as my wife felt they were over crispy and hard. However, the service overshadowed everything else! Anyone driving through Castille should stop here and you'll be delighted!

Tried to go here for dinner yesterday at 6:00pm. There were 5 in our party. The girl behind the counter looked at our group sighed and said, “it will be awhile those people haven’t even gotten their food yet.” She acted like we were a huge inconvenience and how dare we show up. There were three tables that would have accommodated us, and another couple said they just had to pay their bill and we could have their table. If our greeting wasn’t bad enough, she then saw the people come in behind us and said to us, are you kidding me and rolled her eyes. We said we would even sit at counter. We changed our mind and left. We drove 8 minutes to a different diner that was happy to see us, greeted us warmly and the wait staff was excellent. We will not be returning. This is the second time we have gone here and the first time was average service at best. Trying to do local places but I refuse to be treated rudely and like we are inconvenience. My family will take my business elsewhere.

Went on a Saturday night, few people there. Had to wait for someone to come and take drink order. A party of eight came in after we’d been waiting and their drink and dinner orders were taken immediately. One girl wandered around the counter and the other waitress was not to be seen. Other customers came in and were waiting still. We’d been there almost 20 minutes. We left.
I had the Waffle Benedict. You could not do better at the Waldorf Astoria. Very nice diner. Service was great. Clean professional operation. Best Canadian bacon I’ve ever had. And I’m old.

Delicious breakfast option! The donuts and desserts are homemade. We loved the Boston cream! Everyone enjoyed their breakfast! We ordered corned beef hash with fried eggs, Philly Benedict, western omelet and chicken & mushroom omelet. The omelets could easily be shared, especially if you start with a donut! The staff was very accommodating changing out the potato side for fruit due to dietary restrictions (fruit was a cocktail mix). Coffee was very good. If we were staying another night we would definitely come back again!
