The food was fresh and lots of choices. I also like that avocado isn’t an extra cost, which it is at many other poke restaurants. I look forward to returning for some of their spicy ramen!“

When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“

“Wanted to explore dinner place in Rensselaer, saw this Asian Bistro. They had huge menu, it was exciting but overwhelming at same time. So tried different food, the roll that we order didn’t look really appetizing and also the tum yum soup didn’t taste like Tom yum. However, the Thai basil chicken and salmon carpaccio were really good. I ordered scorpion bowl for drinks, it was large but I enjoyed it. Server was very polite and patience, we liked her. First drink order was taken by 1 server who seem to be in rush, but later another young lady with smiling attitude came and her attitude and service were 5 ⭐️. Again, will be coming back as I live near by and also recommend!“

We started with the Gyoza, fried to perfection with a perfectly balanced soy-vinegar dipping sauce – pure deliciousness. For the main course, the PAD KRA PROW (THAI BASIL SAUCE) with extra chicken and medium spice was phenomenal. Be warned: medium is spicy, but the flavors were immaculate! Crispy veggies, al dente noodles, and succulent chicken all soaked in that incredible sauce, served with fluffy sticky rice. It’s perfect for any meal!

“Okay so I didn’t go to the restaurant but I ordered the appetizer sampler and ramen online. It came in a cute package 🥰 and the food was great!
