So let me start by saying my wife and I eat out 4-5 times a week. We have our favorites but at least 2 times a week we try a new place. We tried once before to go to Piccolo’s we called at around 4pm for an evening reservation and were told “ we are not accepting any more guests this evening. Ok so today we called at 3pm and made a reservation for 6pm. We arrived on time and waited at the host station for 10 minutes for anyone to come over. There were plenty of empty tables. Finally the host came over and told us he could seat us but it would be a while before anyone would come to our table, I said ok he then stressed we would not be helped for a while? I decided that this was not a place I would want to have dinner at. This was 10 minutes ago, currently I am enjoying a salad at a place worthy of my business.

I know being I was a past waitress at the original Piccolo’s and then a general manager until retired 11/1 many will say my review is biased but being that I have had the opportunity of being in the kitchen while the food is prepared I can 100% tell you the food and sauce is made from the best of ingredients following past recipes of Chef Rodrigo and Chef Daniel. The sauce is homemade and is authentic Italian. The specials that are posted daily are made from the talents of Chef Daniel and his staff as they pride themselves on delighting the public . The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your dining experience is pleasurable. ?

I recently dined at Piccolo Trattoria and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff made me feel welcome with warm smiles. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting.I ordered the Salmon Oreganato for my main dish, and it was cooked to perfection. The salmon was tender and flavorful, and the side of steamed vegetables, particularly the crisp broccoli, was a delightful complement. As for the appetizer, the mussels in a red garlic sauce were the highlight of the meal. Served in a generous portion, the dish was brimming with at least 2 dozen fresh, succulent mussels.In addition to the exceptional food, the attentive service stood out. The staff was prompt and accommodating, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable.Overall, I highly recommend Piccolo restaurant for a delightful dining experience. With its delicious cuisine, welcoming staff, and pleasant ambiance, it's a top-notch choice for any food enthusiast.

I'm visiting from Boston and would consider myself a food snob. I eat out at least 3-4 days a week. I dined here last night and I gotta say, the food was fantastic! The service was top notch too! We had a party of 6 and I felt like we asked for so much (refill on drinks, extra this , extra that ) and the waitress did it all with a smile. I genuinely enjoyed my meal and everyone else's at the table. I most definitely would dine here again when I'm back in town!

I attended a Greene County Chamber event here this evening and loved everything about Piccolo's. As you can see from the empty platters the food was a big hit, the service was tremendous, and those platters were refilled quickly. Admittedly, I went back for seconds, the diet could wait, the food was too delicious!
Friends of ours have been raving about Piccolo for months and we finally made a reservation to try it out for the first time - when else - on Valentine's Day. My expectations for eating out on holidays are normally fairly low but let me tell you, this place absolutely knocked it out of the park. On an obviously sold out night, everything was perfect. They bake their garlic rolls fresh daily - I asked after eating 2. The food, omg the food! So many restaurants focus on either quality or quantity, but Piccolo does both. Everything we ate was fresh, plentiful, and presented beautifully. I don't know how I fit it in but end your meal with the homemade chocolate mousse! Now I have to talk about hospitality for a moment. From the second we walked in, we were greeted with warmth - smiles, welcoming words, and amazing light jazz music. The restaurant is beautifully updated. We can't wait to dine at Piccolo again.
