This is a can’t-miss spot! Subversive is easily our favorite year-round beer + dinner joint. The folks who run it are the best, and the burger in particular is excellent — not to mention that the New York Nectar IPA is my favorite beer in the region. Amazing outdoor space after a hike (or a ski run) & the heated tent and inside are perfect on a chilly night.

Some great brews in a nice, cozy space. I truly enjoyed the flight I had. Good variety of sours, stouts, ales, and IPAs. Maybe next time, I'll grab some of the food they have there.

Neat little place, very cozy. Smashburgers are great. The beer is OK. I had a decent Kölsch but the West coast IPA was off. Also, $7-8 for a 13oz pour of 4-7% ABV is silly.

Friendly staff and dog friendly outside or in the heated tent. The heated tent was actually pretty warm for it being only about 25°F outside. The NY IPA was good, and I like that they have 3 different size options, but the mushroom and swiss burger was delicious!! Definitely don't skip the burger, wish I had gotten a picture before we devoured it!

Nice setting with a heated tent that is pet friendly and attentive and helpful staff. BBQ bacon burger looks great but tastes bland - needs seasoning or something. Fries and beer are real good.

Went here with a group of friends while passing through catskill. Very friendly and efficient service, fun live music, and a delicious chicken sandwich! Great place to unwind with friends and enjoy some beers!

My favorite brewery in the hv. These people clearly know what they’re doing! I love the field feast and mountain marzen beers, both very delicious. Food and service was excellent as well. If you’re passing through catskill its a must visit

Amateurish home-brew quality beer. Flex space taproom that apparently doesn't need to be mopped after a brew day and a forklift almost sitting at your table. Wait on line just to pay while one guy serves 14 people. They serve a nice 13 oz. beer in a 9 oz. glass. Very limited menu. Kind of like they want to be a brew pub when they grow up.
