Carmelina's Pizzeria and Ristorante

Their three sauces grandma pie is to die for. Best around!!! Even heated up next day it’s amazing!! Their staff is so friendly and price is just right!

I don’t leave reviews often, but with Carmelina’s I felt the need to do so. I’m so annoyed with myself for living so close to this place and not having gone sooner. Everything about this place is great and they do everything so well at a price that is actually reasonable. Pizza and takeout in general has gotten a bit absurd but I actually felt like I paid less than anywhere else in the surrounding area and the food was soooooo much better. We got pizza, two very different types of pasta which both came with ridic large and delicious salads with house balsamic dressing some mozzarella sticks and garlic bread was also included. Everything delicious, clearly was cooked by people who care and take pride in what they do. This is assuredly my new go to place for pizza and Italian takeout.

I recently used the restaurant 4 days in a row for meals when my husband passed. Giovanni could not have been more helpful in helping me plan a buffet for 30. The food was excellent and the Grandma pie the best I have ever had. Would highly recommend to everyone!

Usually love this place their pizza is amazing, decided to try the penne ala vodka today with some fried chicken, the chicken is great the pasta on the other hand is absolutely disgusting, completely dry,95% of it was scallions, and pasta is hard needs to be boiled longer, will never order pasta from them again,wasted $20+

I been a lot of places this one for pizza I actually keep going back ! The doughs tasty has me eating the crust when I usually don’t ! The sauce doesn’t repeat in u not acidic at all ! The cheese is real not imitation or the cheap kind ! And cheaper then most places for a whole pie ! I gotta say it’s thicker than most places the reg pie others make it paper this place does not !! Try it you’ll see why I keep coming back for a fresh pie !!

Pizza was otherworldly

NEW OWNERS yes new …do not know what they are doing 3 overpriced heroes 2 (old) regular slices $65… old stale bread lack of cheese now granted, I know it’s a Monday evening but don’t charge that much money for old food that sat around during the day we got to know the old owners and they were great and they knew what they were doing. The sauce that you seen in the picture the lower one is a jar sauce that they are serving the upper one is from the old owner homemade sauce delicious…we had hero’s last week (that’s when we noticed the change) there was a piece of cardboard w/ cheese stuck to it stuck to the bottom of my hero but I lost the pic (dammit). But not even a apology. Keep away from this place . No longer a customer Tj

Delicious pizza and great family deals!

This place is great. Delicious pizza, lots of variety. The staff and owners are so nice. Try the Detroit!

The last two times I have been there have been a very different experience than the first time above. A few months back, they didn't even get my order correct and never made the food. I waited thirty minutes to wait for a few different pies. That was a miscommunication, I let that go. Pizza was good. Yesterday, I ordered a pie. Grandma crust, three toppings, well done. Nine slices of square pizza. Over $40 bucks! It was good, not amazing, but good. $40 bucks. Nope. I cannot afford that. I placed it on Slice to pick up, the button is on their website, instead of calling. I should have called, there was a small fee just for using that button as well. I know times are tough and food prices are up but it's pizza. Great food but I'm priced out.

Please note that this is an “edit” of my first review… the first time in I was impressed… yes, the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful..; my first experience was fine and I tried a vegi slice and it was good… BUT… I’ve been there two more times… by now I kinda figured out how things work at Carmelina’s… they don’t do “meat”… okay, one puny selection for a skimpily prepared pepperoni slice but no meat pizzas… you can have anything you like as long as it’s chicken… bar bq, Marsala, chicken and cheese, whatever… (all white meat and it all tastes the same)
Frankly I like more variety, sausage, Margherita with pepperoni, etc. - so’ I asked… why no meat pizza… and I quote: “… just sold the last slice, ran out of meat last night or haven’t made one yet today…” BOTTOM LINE: basically any kind of pizza you want as long as it’s chicken…
I’m bummed out… lotz of choices in the CtrMriches area…

The pizza is always fresh and the owner Giovanni is a class act highly recommend
