RATING SHOULD BE ZERO-THEY ARE THIEVES!I stopped by earlier today and asked the young lady at the counter who spoke very poor English if they carry any small size cakes or sandwiches that I could buy with a $15 gift card my daughter gave to me and my wife.The employee took my card and said she needed to check with somebody. She stepped behind the wall to the right from me and spoke to somebody for a minute or two.The lady in her 40-50 who looked like a manager came out and told me they had no small cakes or ice cream sandwiches for $15 and that without paying anything extra I can buy only two ice creams. As I did not want to spend any money besides the gift card I gave them earlier I indicated what ice cream I wanted to take. As I mentioned earlier my card was still with the older lady, the manager, who ran it through her cash register and told me there was ZERO balance on the card.Very surprised, I asked her to double check and was told the same, that the card had no balance on it. With that she handed me back the card. Frustrated, I went back into my vehicle where my wife was waiting for me. Told her what happened, and as soon as I gave her the gift card returned to me by the Cold Stone Creamery manager she pointed that it was a different card, used several times with several dollar amounts on the back indicating multiple times usage.Very upset that I have not noticed it myself I returned to the store and asked the manager if by mistake she used somebody else's card and kept my unused $15 card. To which she just responded WHAT? like I was some kind of imbecile.I have never been to that place before, and most definitely will never go again!Not willing to ruin my Saturday I just left.Hope the people who read this will learn from my experience and never patronize this Cold Stone Creamery at 2350 Middle Country Rd.,Centereach.

The ice cream is always good and the seasonal creations are always cool, but everytime I go in the staff seem miserable, they never even acknowledge you are standing there or walk in. It used to be a fun place to walk in and see people smiling and singing and now your lucky if a staff member even looks up your way.

Ordered delivery, sizes were "love it" & "Gotta have it", there was no difference in the size, and on the small side. Disappointed, especially with this location being new. Ice was good, I would just attribute this to a service matter.

The guy who served my ice cream was talking on the phone using headphones and saliva was coming out of his mouth !Please don’t use the phone while you serve food or cover your mouth!

Attn store manager: the young men working tonight need a pass from closing side work- they were SLAMMED. Online orders were out of control; I was having anxiety w each ticket printing and I wasn’t even working. I waited 30min in line for my cake batter ice cream [always be worth the wait], but despite being slaughtered w orders, I was greeted w kindness. I received great service & witnessed professional and kind young men doing their best. I was impressed with their work ethic and ability to stay calm.

Just got scammed. Ordered directly from their website. I get a text that the order was canceled for delivery. I call the store they tell me they will not refund my order because they made it already. I said ok I will pick it up but I’d like to be refunded for the delivery fee and tip for the driver that never showed. He said no and that I need to come bring him cash, cash only. I said, no I want my entire order refunded I’m not coming. He said it’s magically no longer in his system. This took place in the centereach location. I have not been refunded even though they cancelled the order.

Ice cream is good however my orders have been wrong consistently. I guess that's what happens when you have 16 year olds working with no supervision.
Definitely horrible customer service with not cares about keeping their customer loyal. I definitely will go to a different cold stone from now on anymore. The one close to my house has I spent so much money for a big order, and there was not even a little chance to make a small changes without giving me such attitude on the phone for a little chocolate syrup after spoken with assistant manager, and not able to transfer me over to a manager absolutely ridiculous. ( I was kind and respectful, and offered to be additional if you need to has on my Uber Eats app there was no option to add chocolate syrup ) Best luck to the owner. I will give my $120 minimum spent into the location to another local ice cream place that probably I receive better customer service .

Good ice cream, terribly high prices, extra long wait, and disgusting storefront.-I counted 6 employees and was 2nd in line for 20 minutes.-Every surface and corner in the store was super dirty.-Employees were nice.-We counted 7 security cameras inside, so it's obvious that the owners have no idea how to manage a business or lead their people.
