Ibiza Kitchen had some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. The dishes were creative, flavorful, and absolutely delicious—truly a standout culinary experience.
That said, the service left something to be desired. We ordered a bottle of sparkling water, but had to repeatedly remind the bussers not to top off our glass with tap water. We also requested one dish with the crème on the side, which was overlooked—though, they replaced it. The bathroom setup and the back area of the restaurant felt a bit odd and out of place.
On a positive note, the owner and chef were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating when it came to food allergies—unfortunately, the rest of the staff didn’t seem as well-informed.
Bottom line: The food was so amazing that I’d absolutely go back, even if it means dealing with a few service hiccups.

Outstanding food! Service was good. Strange atmosphere. Would go back for the food despite the un-knowledgeable servers.
My wife and I celebrated anniversary here, and it was a delightful evening. We shared five tapas and all were delicious and unique. We would definitely return.
Compliments to the chef! Amazing place with good service full of flavor food and great drinks. We ordered all tapas and shared. All dishes presented and tasted so scrumptious.

The menu items were creative and prepared differently than what you might expect; octopus was sliced like carpaccio. The special chicken empanada was prepare more like a rolled crepe. Each dish was a surprise in its preparation, yet very flavorful. Luis was very attentive and explained some of the dishes to us. He was very personable.
We've been going to Ibiza since its inception and are “regulars”. It's been a fantastic addition and now staple in the restaurant mix in our town. When it's very busy (weekends), they might add an additional server as it's been slower than in the past. Each new dish we tried , since there's a new chef, has been interesting and tasty. But, I do miss the atun the way it used to be made as well as the gambas ajillo which now lacks enough garlic and has too much paprika. Another entree I relied on was the scallops not on the menu. These misses won't stop me from eating there however.
The restaurant's design is very attractive and contemporary. It is comfortable and welcoming. Our food was delicious. I am very fond of croquettes and order them whenever I get a chance. These might just be the best ever. I would go for the croquettes! I will definitely go back.
If portions weren’t so small, I’d give 5 stars…

We love this spot so much we drive from Cliffside park NJ. The Chef/owner is one cool dude! You won’t be disappointed!

Valentine's Day Dinner that was anything but romantic. There were several times that I wanted to walk out because that's how awful our service was. The restaurant was clearly overwhelmed and the staff seemed to be in a state of chaos for nothing, because I didn't see a lot of food coming out of the kitchen. Now I get that restaurants are going to be extra busy on holidays, but that's not an excuse to essentially neglect your guests. Not a single soul came up to us to apologize about the speed in which dishes were coming out, their lack of attentiveness, etc.
The paella (which wasn't really that flavorful sadly at $40pp) took over 90 minutes to come out. No one came to check on us or ask if we wanted another drink, which we would've liked because we did enjoy the sangria. We received the wrong order for one of our tapas, and when I finally got a waiter's attention again no apologies or offers to correct it. And they didn't take what we actually ordered off the bill.
Everything was way overpriced and not worth it. The icing on the cake was that they conveniently *just* changed their menu so what was on their website didn't match what we were presented with on the menu.
Honestly if you want tapas, save yourself the stress and go to Barcelona in Stamford or Norwalk.
The food was really good, and it is a nice place.
The service was borderline nonexistent. Inattentive is the wrong word; we felt ignored. There was a 30 minute wait to be served our drinks after ordering them, during which time we had to beg to get water refills. Our entrees did then come out promptly. But once the food was served, the bizarrely inattentive service immediately reasserted itself. After our plates were cleared, it took almost 50 minutes for our server to ask if we wanted dessert. Nobody ever asked if we wanted another round of drinks. We did, and we also wanted dessert, but not after waiting 50 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted any.
When we said no to dessert and instead requested the check, it took another 30 minutes to get someone to take our card to pay (and it was not our server; she simply never came by again after we requested the check).
All told, we were seated for almost 2.5 hours, and had only 1 round of drinks and entrees, despite actively wanting to order more drinks and some dessert the entire time. I point out that we would have spent at least $70 more if our server had bothered to ask if we wanted more drinks or taken less than almost an hour to inquire about dessert.
Again, the food was delicious. We might even go again. But they definitely either need more staff or better staff. It was kind of bizarre.
The food was excellent. The service was bizarrely inattentive. Waiting 30 minutes for your first round of drinks is unusual. Never being asked if you want anything else to drink after that is not awesome. Waiting 50 minutes after your plates are cleared for your server to finally come by and ask if you want anything else, eg dessert, pretty frustrating. When you then say “I did want dessert actually, but that was 50 minutes ago and we just want to go home now, can we get the check” and it then takes another 30 minutes and frantic waving of hands at random servers to get someone to take your card... ...I mean yeah the food was really good but be prepared for a uniquely aggravating service experience. I don't think we will be back.
They changed the menu completely and it's not as good. It was also no one there on a Thursday when it's usually packed and think it's due to menu changes:
This restaurant is usually excellent in every way. Something is wrong not enough servers something different in the kitchen. I'm not sure but it's changed. No reason to go back.
