I stopped for coffee and dessert l was very disappointed. I had a choc swiss roll. The cake was dry and tasted old. The coffee was great. I did try a sample of a babka cake which was delcious.

The food is legendary and it just makes the setting for Thanksgiving, the most accommodating family, they carried all of the food out to the truck for us. There was no wait for service & they served us coffee as we chatted with them. This is our fourth or fifth holiday with them. We (I) love them. .....

i was so impressed with both the breads and prepared food. get the salmon! i took a bite of it cold, and it was so delicious, i didn't even bother warming it up! challah is among the best i've had. breads and cookies were closed with pretty bows. i will most definitely be back!

Went there to get lunch. First time being there and the staff that helped me couldn’t have been more rude. Explained to her that I had seen the menu online and would like one of their sandwiches which she replied “we don’t sell that” I was surprised since their website says they have a rotation of stuff including sandwiches, so I asked for a coffee and that’s it to which she abruptly said “it’s that all you’re planning on spending?” With such attitude and disrespect. I told her it was all since they didn’t have the sandwich she rolled her eyes and asked again “so what else are you buying?”. I have never been treated so disrespectfully and poorly at any other place. If I could I would give them 0 stars. What a disappointment don’t go there if you don’t want to be treated like they’re doing you a favor by letting you buy their stuff.

This place is an overpriced, unfriendly disaster. It doesn’t matter if you call 5 days or 5 weeks in advance for an order, be prepared to be placed on hold multiple times by the most rude phone staff. I understand it’s the holidays but tell possible customers you can’t accept orders at the moment. After I asked a question, the person over the phone said “I said what I said …don’t you get it?!” While waiting in line to pick up an order (with my order number in hand) I was ignored for friends of the management. I guess this is typical of Chappaqua but…if you’re going to overpay for mediocrity, do it somewhere else.

I love the in-store options/daily preprepared food, and their entertaining a la carte service is outstanding (simple to place order, great value, beautiful presentation)

We were in town to visit family and went to this neighborhood bakery and café for some lunch. They have a wide selection of pastries, cakes, nuts, gift sets, and also a menu to order food to eat there or to take out like we did. We had some sandwiches made and they were very good. We also got some baked good, especially babkas and they were just OK.It's a nice place, staff is helpful, and the have nice presentation of their baked goods and cake. They also have frozen good and soups to take home.Given how good everything looked, we had higher expectations for the baked good we got, but they were only OK. But, the sandwiches were very good and we would try it again when we're back in town.

I'm not sure why this place has three dollar-signs on Google—it's less expensive (and better!) than the Starbucks down the street! I got a nice slice of quiche Lorraine, a large iced coffee, and a very cute bumblebee cookie, all for $10 and change. At Starbucks the coffee and cookie alone would've been more than $10, so yeah, I'm not sure why Google thinks this place is “$$$”I was served by Marcia, who was very nice, by the way. While I was there, another employee—a young Latino man—was getting berated by some ‘Karen’ (my words) over the number of sweet'n lows in her coffee, and he kept his composure and remained polite the whole time. I just wanted to give these fine people a shout-out!Vegetarian options: Broccoli-cheddar quiche!Dietary restrictions: They have soy milk!

Deception … Got a strawberry shortcake for my wife birthday, and deception, cake was old and frosting as falling apart and sour, so sad a place with this quality selling product with out checking quality control. And note this is not the fist product that I get from here and I know they quality of this cake when is fresh. Thanks for ruin my wife birthday. Cake will be returned tomorrow.

If you're looking for quality baked goods, look no further! Perfect treats to bring to a party or as a hostess gift. They'll wrap them up really nicely as well if you let them know it's a gift. You can buy by the pound or prepackaged options. They even have a gluten free souffle! By the pound option is perfect if you just want one little bite to get your sugar fix. It is a little pricey (chocolate babka will set you back $16), but well worth the splurge. They use high quality ingredients and the treats are so decadent-- a little goes a long way! Easily the best rugelach I've ever had! They have indoor and outdoor seating (seasonally). Coffee is also available, so you can relax and snack right there. They also have a deli counter with soups and homemade breads but I haven't tried any of that just yet! Definitely worth stopping by and trying something new.

Good food but very EXPENSIVE. For such an expensive place you have to ask for sugar, straw, napkin and plastic forks & knife.
