Dan’s Diner holds a special place in my heart. It’s such a treat to pay it a visit. I hope it continues to thrive for years and years to come. The French toast is perfect.
We were happy to find a seat at this counter. Warm and cozy, obviously reborn with love. We were welcomed by truly good diner coffee, within minutes served an authentic Ruben served with sturdy onion rings, the best of both I've had in quite a long time. Worth a short drive off the highway.

Ate there last Sunday morning (11/10) while attending a writers conference in nearby Spencertown. Excellent food. Maybe some of the best damn home fries I've ever eaten. I had a double order with my eggs and toast! Kind of a tight space, with only counter seats but well worth the wait if there's no stools immediately available. A true gem.
