The food was great and the staff was super nice. We are from out of town but when we come back to the area will definitely be eating there again. Also they said a really great salsa bar that had many kinds of salsa and toppings to put on your food.

$12.99 for cheese and chips appetizer! Yikes! Container of cheese was half full. Paper bag of chips wasn’t even a bag big enough to pack a lunch in. Fish tacos had fried fish that more resembled fruit roll ups than tilapia. Fish was overcooked as well. We requested extra chipotle sauce but received a condiment container barely a quarter filled. For $18.99, try harder or take em off the menu!We’ve ordered from here several times before and never had an issue but this experience will probably be our last.
★★★★Taqueria Los Mayas pleasantly surprised us with its unique take on Mexican cuisine. While it may not satisfy those seeking an authentic Mexican experience, the food was enjoyable nonetheless. The chorizo and al pastor had a distinct flavor reminiscent of seasoned carne enchilada, which added an interesting twist to the dishes. Although the quesadillas were made with flour tortillas instead of corn flour, and mozzarella cheese was used instead of queso Oaxaca, they still offered a satisfyingly cheesy bite. The birria quesadillas, accompanied by consomé, were unfortunately on the salty side, but the addition of fresh diced tomatoes added a refreshing touch. The wait time of approximately 30 minutes for our take out was a bit long as the restaurantwas not packed, I particularly enjoyed the cheese enchiladas, although the rice was average, and as a vegetarian, I appreciated the option of non meaty styff. Overall, Taqueria Los Mayas was ok but I won't be returning.Vegetarian options: Anything can be made vegetarian as they replace meat with beans.Parking: Unpaved parking with plenty of space.
Authentic mexican restaurant in buffalo! Love this place. They even have their own salsa bar. Portion is generous and everything is so flavorful. My favorite was the flautas and their refried beans ? The al pastor and the lengua taco were amazing. Don’t forget to order the horchata. Best horchata I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely cross the border again just to eat out here again.

Came in with some friends and had a really good meal.The service was good, the meal was excellent, and the vibe is kinda neutral - nothing fancy.They have draft beer, good margaritas, and a good bar selection, too. I had their quesadilla grande (steak, chicken, shrimp). Loved it!!
