Absolutely wonderful. We did have a bit of a hard time talking / hearing due to the amount of people around us. But that's on the customers, not the restaurant. The prices are a bit expensive. That being said...the dinners were absolutely amazing and delicious. We had the arugula salad and the mixed greens salad. We ordered penne carbonara with a sherry sauce that was out of this world. The other dinner was the mushroom ravioli, equally delicious. Not a huge fan of gorgonzola but it was just enough to compliment the other flavors of the dish. We each had a cocktail, pomegranate Cosmo and a dirty martini. Both done to perfection. The waitress was very knowledgeable and extremely attentive to us. And that was with a packed dining room. All in all, a great night out. Delicious food and great service. Parking was across street, short walk away. Front entry had a few small steps but also a ramp for wheelchair access. If looking for a quaint place with good food, def give this one a try.

Scallops were wrapped in bacon. Wife was disappointed. Didn't see that on the online menu. The theory is this: and again this is my opinion, Scallops, fresh and plump need nothing. Bacon is a cheap way of making inferior scallops "appealing" to the American pallette. Plus it's quite common. No CIA chef specialty. If u spend 34 dollars on a scallop dish an unsuspecting customer like myself would expect scallops. Leave the bacon for the diner breakfast. As for me I ordered cod with potatoes. It was ok. I mean I ate it.However the desserts were fantastic. I had both the chocolate tort and the rhubarb tort. The best I've ever eaten. So all in all, We ate it. So it wasn't that bad, and then to have a tremendous desert, made the experience memorable indeed. Would I go back ... Perhaps... to dine in and get a full description of the meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional and the atmosphere would be great for a romantic outing.

where to begin! stopped here on my way to homecoming at Colgate. I can honestly say this is one of the truly great finds I have ever enjoyed. we were early for our reservation (as planned!) and enjoyed a great craft cocktail with Thomas attending to our pre dinner libation. Our dinner in a word was amazing. We shared the Chefs" take on bucatini carbonara , which in addition to the pancetta and egg included cippolini onion and mushroom. As a big fan of carbonara I was more than pleased with their offering! My wife had the roasted chicken and I had the meatloaf.;honestly the first time I have had meatloaf outside of my own home!!!!each was really good. dessert of strawberry rhubarb tart rounded out our evening. as I said the food was great , and the staff equally so! Our waitperson, Jack , was very attentive , witty, and personable. what more can I say the place is a hidden gem. we will make an effort to get back again!
A great place for a celebration! Delicious drinks (they made a mocktail for me that was superb), and scrumptious food. They have a fairly small standard menu with hearty dishes and fun specials. The appetizers are fairly sizeable, perfect for sharing or eating as a meal. The atmosphere is perfect for an intamate date or a gathering of friends.

My husband and I shared a self designed 4 course meal. The waiter was terrific. He understood our goal and timed each course accordingly with a nice delay in between courses to digest and converse. We did not need to ask for separate plates as they accompanied each selection when brought; he even remembered two pasta spoons for twirling! The romaine salad was delightful, the bucatini was just a little spicy at the end of the bite with chunky bacon tossed throughout, the steak au poivre was a perfect pink and well seasoned, and the house-made flourless chocolate torte was delivered unexpectedly warm, yum!! Even the water was crisp and refreshing. Reservations are highly recommended!
Had to wait a half hour for the waitress. After going inside to request service to order drinks we got the host/barkeeper. After our third time going inside to request some bread at least (we sat on their lovely porch) found out the waitress who waited on the tables next to us was ours. She ignored us! Still waiting for drinks. All we had was water and menus. Very disappointing since this restaurant is usually excellent in every way. Our food was beautiful and delish.
