Interesting place with excellent beer/ale. I have not tried the food yet, so I did not rate it. Red shed took a chance putting this pub in the middle of a dying town. It would be great if they were paid back with local support.
I've had occasion to pass through the beautiful little village of Cherry Valley, and finally had some extra time to stop in and try Red Shed. I was very glad I did. Nick, the gentleman tending bar, was a good conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the beers on offer. He pointed out that they have cask beers available. The red shed is really is a place you should stop and try. From it being really clean and always a welcoming feeling to a tasty menu to the ales and ciders. The bartender Nic is one of the best. He makes his customers feel welcome and does his job top notch. Make sure you give this place a visit. J+
