Allan's Falafel Reviews
Allan’s Falafel is an delicious gem! Every bite is a flavor explosion, they perfectly season their golden falafel and the fresh, vibrant salads that accompany each dish is so fresh. The lamb appetizer is tender, juicy, and packed with spices that hit just the right balance of savory and aromatic. Allan's Falafel offers delicious oriental/Israeli food, with hummus and falafel comparable to a good Israeli oriental restaurant. The menu includes gluten-free dishes labeled for those with dietary restrictions, making it very GF friendly. The American pitas are thin, and the service is fast and courteous, although there can be moments of inattentiveness, especially when the restaurant is busy. Despite this, the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating about dietary needs. The restaurant provides a variety of vegetarian and meat options, with dishes like falafel salad, grape leaves, and classic hummus, leaving customers happy and satisfied with full bellies. The food is nothing short of delicious, and each dish is beautifully prepared. Allan's is a great choice for events, as the team is attentive and professional, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Despite being a bit crowded, it is worth a stop, especially if on the New York City to Legoland route. The great food and reasonable prices make the hour-long trip worthwhile.
