We called for takeout 2 days in a row first time they were to busy and an hour wait. Called the second day and was told that they only prepped enough for the reservations they had and a few walk in soon takeout
An excellent choice for a neighborhood restaurant with a high class food taste. Good cocktails and interesting menu with diverse choices. A few options from the menu not available (as food and drinks/wines) but still manageable. The plates were designed specifically for this restaurant which it is a very nice touch of service.
The service provided by Scott was good; he took care of our table needs and he provided the service to the best of his ability. One of the owners (Jodi) came and talk to us and ask about immediate feedback and if anything else we may need. Appreciate when owners or chefs are interested on feedback from customers. We definitely recommend the restaurant and we will return when possible.

Awesome food and atmosphere
I'm sure the other food is great as our friends said that were dining with us, but I had the beef ribs and I will get them again!
Our server was Scott and he was attentive but not overbearing - good guy
We will be back

My husband and I just went for dinner. Our server Scott was great! We started with the pork belly… highly recommend. For entrees we both had the chicken fried chicken. The portion size was huge! It tasted amazing! We were both impressed. We also got their cornbread. It was delish!
Thank you for a good meal on a cold winter night! We will definitely be back!

Cannot say enough good things about this place. I’m usually a person that devours their food - but their Chicken Fried Chicken and Black Pepper Gravy had me slow down to savor every bite. There’s a reason this dish was named one of the top dishes in CNY for 2025

During Oz-Stravaganza 2025, one of my over decade's worth of attendances in Authors and Artists Alley there, I attended their soft opening with my friend Lex Spoon and had their fried chicken filet and cornbread. The waitress was the owner's daughter and was a delight. By the way, at first, I was skeptical after years of enjoying Southern cooking from my relatives (and trying my hand at it myself). I was also skeptical because, at the time, I was a social media manager for the best country cooking restaurant in my region if not my state, Paula's Family Restaurant, in Bamberg, S.C. But when the young waitress said they brined the chicken, I said I knew they knew what they were doing. And they did! When the hot chicken came out, it was crisp on the outside and very juicy outside. The exterior had been prepared Nashville hot style with what I believe was honey and hot sauce. Yet perhaps the delicious honey had been drizzled on it when it was drizzled on the buttery, warm, and moist cornbread. Some bad cornbread and even bad biscuits absorb all the saliva in one's mouth when one partakes of them. Not this cornbread! This was your Grandma's or Momma's cornbread and mine)! The sweetness and heat of the dishes created the overall effect of another downhome favorite, chicken and waffles. For dessert, we shared coconut cake that was so moist and so luscious with its coconut filled icing like a snowy subtle layer. I was instantly reminded of my late Great Aunt Evelyn, who made it for years, and Great Aunt Ann, who still makes it. Go back home to the South while in a Northern village. You won't be disappointed.
My husband, myself and our two good friends had such a wonderful time dining here this evening! The restaurant is welcoming and tastefully adorned. It creates a warm and inviting atmosphere!
The food was every bit as wonderful as the decor, from appetizers to dessert! The bar is also warm, inviting and comfortable where friends can meet up and enjoy an evening.
So great to have this dining experience in Chittenango!

The bourbon glazed pork belly was some of the best food I’ve put in my mouth in my 50+ years. Dared to try the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and discover something truly amazing. This unassuming restaurant blew me away with house made fare at a reasonable prices when other restaurants just reheat mass produced freezer food.
Staff was super friendly and the bar area had a real ‘favorite place’ vibe. Definitely worth a drive from Syracuse to this quaint town on the original yellow brick road.

Had an amazing meal that brought me back to Louisianna with that creole flavor straight from the heart and soul. Thanks for bringing the South way up here to New York. By far some of the best tasting food I've had in the Syracuse area. The fried green tomatoes, the ribs, the mac & cheese, and ohhhhhh my goodness are those even really grits?! They can't be; they taste way too good. Have fun eating here trying to decipher the subtle nuances of flavor nested here and there, making each dish delicious and exquisite.
