“I'm not sure how I've never heard of this place before. Firstly, the food is amazing ??. We got the Cajun Shrimp and Cheesy Grits Eggs Benedict. The grits were fresh made and delicious ? The eggs were poached perfectly and the shrimp was grilled and season to perfection. We also ordered a side of home fries that were to die for. Also, I ordered a Bloody Mary which came with all the fixings. It was truly breakfast in a glass. The service was fun, funny and just what we needed this morning. The restaurant is decked out with 80's pop culture memorabilia and there's always something to look at. Even the restroom is amusing with a sticker on the toilet that says "Nice Butt" ??. I will be back and not just for breakfast!”

“Hard to tell this was a restaurant from the outside but food was authentic and very good. We received chips and salsa complementary with our meal. We had fajitas and tacos. The beans were delicious. Needs a little updating within but great ”

“Split a Monte Cristo sandwich and a total of 4 craft beers. Ended up with a $30 bill! Food was fantastic and drinks were cold & fresh. The bar patrons were friendly and fun to talk to. Will definitely be coming back again!!!!”

“I was a bit skeptical about trying this place because every time I've driven by, it looks dead and there's not much to read online about it. I went in with low expectations but left very satisfied. It's a nice small townie bar/restaurant. The waitress was very nice and said that it gets busy for calm night. They have weekly specials and they freshly make most of the food. She said all the soups and mashed potatoes are homemade. They are reasonably priced and have large portions. It is well worth it. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back here!”

Incredible local musicians, themed tributes, specialty cocktails, local beers. The most friendly and welcoming place… Melinda (owner) is a saint and makes everyone know how special they are…as is she! It’s simply love, music, and acres of nature. “I love Darlene's!! Have been here so many times their breakfast is classic diner food and it's AMAZING! I love my Saturday excursions here with my family. Darlene is a gem and she is always so kind when we come in! Service is great; place is so cute too! Small but very home-like. I love it”

“I’m not sure what the bad reviews are really about, but they did deter me for a bit from going to this location as well as how small the outside is… despite that we decided to give it a try. Walked into a clean facility, everything in the dining room was kept up and though it’s small there’s some room to eat if you wanted. Employees were friendly and we were immediately greeted with a smile by Andrew! He didn’t speed through or go super slow making the subs, but took the time to make them just right. Everything I could see behind the counter was nicely kept and clean. There were complaints of how they charge for their food, but we did not have any issues. Sandwiches were well put together, fresh and delicious. We will stop again.”

I also enjoyed their vegan curry chicken salad which normally I am skeptical about but I loved it! “I had the Parm Crusted Baked Haddock which in my opinion was a touch over seasoned but it rang true on flavor. My partner and best friend for forty some years had a Creamy Pesto pasta dish which was perfect. A glass of house Pinot washed it all done. An empty plate is a happy palate.”

“Went there a few weeks ago on a Friday, specifically for the Cape Cod Reuben. The place is small but eclectic and fun. The staff was very friendly and had nice conversation with the bartender and some patrons while waiting for my sandwich. The poor girl behind the register was going a mile a minute but made sure to check my order before she handed it to me. The sandwich was excellent. I like that the slaw wasn't too sweet as to overpower the sandwich and the bite of the Swiss cheese complements the flavors. Highly recommend and will definitely be back to try more sandwiches.”

“We came on Sunday in the afternoon and sat on stools outside until a table opened up. There was a short line to get drinks at the bar and the bartender was friendly. There is a food truck to order from and the food was great. We had the chicken riggies and the garlic parm fries which were delicious and plenty to split between two people. The outdoor space is great on a nice summer day. The beer was great and I will definitely be back!”

“Absolutely delicious food and such kind service. My fiancé and I went twice and got the boom boom shrimp dinner which comes with two sides! So far we got the Mac salad, baked beans, French fries, and their coleslaw. All were delicious. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into their food. They also had cheesecake and carrot cake which I’d love to order next time for dessert. Such a gem for Manlius. We cannot wait to go back! Thank you for your wonderful food and service!”

“Their pizza is amazing. My husband and son like to think they are pizza connoisseurs. They are always looking for the best pizza. This is one of their favorites. Every time I work out towards the area I have to pick up a pizza on my way home. They do it right! Next time you take a trip to Green Lake Park, make this a must stop on your trip!”
