Reposting this here because they ignored my review on Google. So I really had high hopes for this restaurant. My husband surprised me with this for Valentine’s Day. In theory it seemed perfect. The bar staff is fantastic, the ambiance is very inviting and pretty. But I was shocked that they charged us $75 per person, however all four courses were shared, so why were we paying per person? I recently had a great dinner at Ruby Begonia’s! Knowing this was mainly “Southern style” cooking and having to stick to a gluten free diet, I was assuming I would be very limited with meal options. I was very wrong! Our waitress and the chef were very willing to work with me to be sure I was safely eating gluten free. I had the best experience at Ruby’s on my birthday. I’ve been waiting to try them, I really wanted the fried chicken and now they make one not marinated in buttermilk. My son and I sat at the bar and had great service from Erin. Pleasant conversation and atmosphere just very comfortable and enjoyable. The drinks were also fantastic, then came the food!
