“I recently had a great dinner at Ruby Begonia’s! Knowing this was mainly “Southern style” cooking and having to stick to a gluten free diet, I was assuming I would be very limited with meal options. I was very wrong! Our waitress and the chef were very willing to work with me to be sure I was safely eating gluten free. I had salmon( a nicely cooked, generous filet) with mashed potatoes and wilted greens. I was able to have the seafood sauce with it as the chef used gf thickener( xantham gum or cornstarch). Everything was “made to order”. I was very pleased and can’t wait to return to try more options. Also, the bartender that evening made me a creative, yummy “mocktail”. Fun night out!“

“We had lunch at 64a on Sunday afternoon and were very happy with our meal. The server greeted us and drinks were delivered quickly. I was pleasantly surprised to find they are serious about food allergies and I was able to eat the fries as they have a separate fryer (seafood allergy) Not all restaurants do. We will definitely be back and enjoy another meal soon . (DMV) 😉“
