This is our go-to for ordering in, and I'm stunned that other people have ranked them lower than they are. Perhaps East Wok is being compared to something like Sparx, but that's not fair; they're two completely different types of restaurants. For what East Wok is, they're five stars, and what they are is *the best* takeout restaurant in the area for Chinese food. It's not even close! Their crab rangoon might be the best that I've ever tasted. My daughter has developed an addiction to their Fried Wontons and Steamed Dumplings (same for me on the dumplings). We've tried various different menu items, to try and branch out, and have never complained for even a moment. It's all really good. You can also get free stuff, in addition to your order, if you spend more than a certain amount; it's a graded tier. Ask them about it when you call. We order about once a week, and that won't stop any time soon.

Good shrimp egg rolls, good lunch specials with reasonable prices. Like the chicken and egg plant in garlic sauce, shrimp with snow peas pods, fried rice, good moo shu dishes with paper thin wraps, shrimp mei fun ( vermicelli noodles & Vegts) are also tasty. Want to try their scallion pancakes sometime. Their egg foo young is decent, especially if you are having a late brunch. We order out from this restaurant when we want a casual but tasty meal.

When you think about Chinese and memories of when you had great Chinese and memories of bad Chinese. This is consistently always in the middle. I’ve had it maybe 30+ times and it will never fail you but you will never amazed. Which in the American Chinese food world, it goes far.

So bland and slimy.
