We did the hard work so you don't have to. We visited THREE restaurants in the region in the same day, and ordered the chicken/lamb over rice combo at each. This was not the only time we visited Halal Addicts, and the experience was highly similar this time to previous times. While Halal Addicts got the lowest score out of the three, it was a delicious meal, and we each agreed we would get it again. The only one of us who was born and raised in NYC identified that *this* was the rice plate that felt the most familiar and nostalgic to him, and was particularly impressed by the rice.
The high points for Halal addicts were the rice and white sauce. Each rater LOVED them, and thought they were tasty. The low points were the veggies (not the freshest), the red sauce (which reminded us of tabasco or frank's red hot that had been diluted), and the green sauce (which was tasty, but not as fresh tasting or complex as the other places we visited). The chicken and lamb were highly similar to another restaurant we visited, making us wonder if they used the same supplier. They were tasty, but relatively generic. Still, the overall impression was that this was a tasty meal, served fast, and with generous portions.

We get food from halal addicts pretty much at least weekly. The chicken over rice and chicken zinger sandwich are my favorites. By far some of the tastiest food in the area; huge portions of extremely high quality, fresh ingredients. The people working there are always so friendly and accommodating as well. Best takeout in the area!!
