Stopped there today for lunch with a couple of friends. We ordered two small greek salads two cups of soup and a toasted muffin. The small greek salad was a pitiful excuse and a greek salad!! It was lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers on a flat plate. The soup was barely warm and the service was
terrible!! The waiter spilled coffee on the table and just walked away. He didn’t clean it, or apologize!! This place has gone down hill. Too bad!! Use to be a great place to eat.

I had the chicken wrap sandwich with fries. The chicken was not great and the wrap was lacking - the fries were awful as they were cokd and soggy, My husband and nephew had the jumbo burger which they enjoyed with macaroni salad and onion rings. The onion rings were good. My brother in law had the soup and a Greek salad which he enjoyed.
excellent diner with all the greek classics!
Excellent food, and service was great also. Although Lake George area food scene isn't great they do have great Diners.
My first time at the Half Moon diner was honestly a great experience.
No wait for a table, but we beat the dinner rush.
The waiter, we will call him Joe, was, different. He had a serious demeanor. Maybe even a little intimidating! But he was one of the best waiters I personally have ever had. Drinks, BAM! Appetizer?! BAM! DINNER?! BAM! Refills?! This guy was on point!
The food was excellent for a diner, and I don’t mean that as an insult. Most diner food is the same old stuff. Half Moon Diner’s food is a cut above the rest.
Serving sizes were optimal, Salad was fresh, atmosphere was friendly (Joe was a hoot), and the service was nascar quick!
I will rank this as one of my top diners in the area!
A must!
Love, peace, and chicken grease!
Regular diner fare. I had a turkey triple decker sandwich with fries. It was good . The service was good. The Diner was clean and bright. We sat in a booth. A little noisy but was a busy lunch time. The waitress was attentive and upbeat.
The food and service was excellent.
Just stopped for breakfast. Good food and quick service.
We received excellent service from our Server, Victoria! She was friendly and attentive.
Large menus with great selection.

Was staying at a local hotel and stopped in for breakfast before hitting the road. Very nice decor, great waitstaff. Great food and good coffee. I had pancakes with a side of bacon, my wife had waffles and blueberries. Couldn't ask for a better sendoff.
2nd time we’ve come here and won’t be back. Dated diner with slow service at 2 o’clock. Wife had turkey Racheal sandwich which must have sat in kitchen before serving as bread became so soggy that it couldn’t be picked up. She ate a few bites but the turkey had an unusual taste and the indifferent server took off a drink price and offered a cannoli as recovery of a bad meal. I had the rib steak sandwich which was not listed as open face but came with 1 piece of toast cut in half and in no way was this is a sandwich. French fry serving was large with thick fries and past visit indicated they could make a make an average hamburger. Also be careful if you’re by a window as the bottled table condiments are sun baked. I would be interested to run a culture to see what grows as the bottles looked a little nasty. Definitely better places to go for lunch
