We only had the cookies but they were very good. Seems expensive here though. 2 cookies were $8. Cupcakes are $6.
We used J&S Watkins for our wedding cake after trying their tasting box. The samples were delicious and so was our wedding cake! We chose the vanilla cake with strawberry and vanilla fillings. The process was seamless and everything came out as we hoped.

Their baked goods are amazing and out of this world, but anybody who lives a normal worklife cannot get there by 12-5PM. The hours are so hard to navigate… If you work from 8 to 5 or 8 to 430 by the time you get there it’s closed! I can’t tell you how many times they’ve been closed by the time I get there… so annoying! Even if you order ahead the hours are ridiculous. You can’t even go early because they don’t open till noon!!!
In 2021 I ordered 2 graduation cakes from J & S Watkins for my daughter. 1 cake for her graduation day dinner and 1 cake for her party which was a few weeks later. Both cakes were wonderful. Very tasty, moist, not dry and the frosting is to die for. I wish I could bake as well as this bakery. I will always order my cakes from J & S Watkins bakery as they are a family run business and they know how to bake. They are also very friendly and all of the staff who I interacted with were wonderful! They are the best!!!
A bakery more about cakes, less about desserts.
Was surprised when I found this spot as I had thought I had managed to locate all the bakeries around the area, and when I mentioned the name to a family friend they spoke of how they had a cheesecake wedding cake made for a wedding they had before which was quite good.
Unlike other bakeries this particular location has a very limited selection, but that's fine, so long as the sweets are good I'd be a happy man. Went with a couple cupcakes (the almond raspberry and lemon), a mini-cheesecake with cherries, and a confetti cookie. All together coming to $22, which isn't the cheapest when it comes to quantity, but quality can trump not having a lot of different things to try.
I found the cookie to be somewhat chemically tasting, which I'm sure was from the confetti sprinkles, but the cookie itself was soft and sweet. The cheesecake I had heard so much about didn't really impress me, it was on the fluffy side, light in note of sweet cheese flavor, and had no crust. When it comes to cheesecakes I either like them light and fluffy with a rich cheesy flavor, or hard as a brick but with a far more mellow and sweet flavor. This was more in the middle of those two options. And the cup cakes, well, they were pretty standard as well. The lemon's frosting was rich and had a nice lemon flavor, but the cake potion was more just plain vanilla. I'd recommend a lemon poppyseed recipe for the cake side, or a lemon curd filling.
All that said the service I got was very nice, love the little ol' lady who rang me up. Reminded me of when I was a kid getting desserts from a local bakery, with the small side talk she gave. Very friendly, made me feel good to be here.

Great customer service. The smell in there is heavenly. I love the chocolate chip cookies but the raspberry lime cake was chef kiss for me. It was really good.

We have been JSWatkins customers for over 12 years now and their cakes, cheesecakes and Pies are always delicious. This particular review is a shout out to their design team, who has astounded us with their creativity and the pure joy they have brought to my family over the past decade. I have walked in a few times now mentioning keywords and they have delivered each time. Adding a few pictures of recent birthday cakes they've baked for us. The patches are where I clumsily tried to blur out kid names.

Racist practices make the mediocre cupcakes taste foul. The woman behind the counter, who appeared to be the proprietor, refused to serve a hispanic customer and continually repeated she “couldn’t understand her English.” Well, I understood the customer perfectly fine, and understood the subtext of the owner even clearer. SHAME. Shame on you. Go literally anywhere else for your confections.

My first experience with this bakery and you did not disappoint. I ordered a cheeseburger cake. There was an upcharge because of the work that goes into it, but that makes total sense. I fully appreciate that time = money. Everyone at the party was impressed at how perfect the cake looked, and they were even more impressed by how delicious it was. Thank you! We will be back.

Absolutely delicious! We got the black satin cake to celebrate and it was incredible. It was so moist, rich, and decadent without being overwhelming or too sweet. A member of my party has a severe tree nut allergy and they made sure to accommodate him. Wonderful service and amazing
